On Sunday November 30, 2025 at 1750 hours, Sgt. Farthing and Dep. Jones responded to [100 BLOCK] N. Anderson Dr. Lot [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic. While enroute dispatch advised that the victim [VICTIM #1] and 7 year old daughter was able to leave the residence and was a neighbor’s residence.

Sgt. Farthing made contact with [VICTIM #1], who stated that her live in boyfriend Alfonso Mitchell had struck her in face, pulled her hair out, threw her to the bedroom floor and placed his hands around her throat causing her to have troubling breathing. [VICTIM #1] advised that the argument started over him going through her phone and seeing messages. [VICTIM #1] stated that after A. Mitchell put his hands on her, he then let her up and she was able to leave residence. [VICTIM #1] stated that her 7 Year old daughter [REDACTED] was present inside the residence during altercation.

Dep. Jones spoke with A. Mitchell, while Sgt. Farthing was speaking with [VICTIM #1]. Dep. Jones advised that A. Mitchell admitted to “placing his hands on [VICTIM #1]”, but would not state that [VICTIM #1] struck him.

After A. Mitchell was detained he advised Dep. Jones that [VICTIM #1] placed hands on him earlier, but Dep. Jones did see any marks on A. Mitchell. Sgt. Farthing advised Lt. Collier of incident due to [VICTIM #1] advising of being strangled by A. Mitchell and the present markings consistent with statement. Case was turned over to investigations and Dep. Jones transported A. Mitchell to Sheriff’s Office.
