[NARRATIVE #1 on March 07, 2026]

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, at approximately 2035 hours, I, Sgt. Joseph Courtien (113), responded to 1156 Walmart Circle, Sandersville, Georgia, in reference to a disturbance involving a white male with no shirt and a black female wearing animal print pants.

Upon my arrival, I immediately recognized the individuals. When the white male, later identified as Grant Grzegorzewski, saw me, he immediately fled on foot into the woods. I did not pursue the male subject and instead remained with the black female, who was later identified as Alashiera Grzegorzewski. Officers attempted to locate Grant Grzegorzewski, but were not successful at the time.

I asked Alashiera Grzegorzewski what was going on. She began using profane language, referring to the Domino’s employee as “nig*a,” and repeatedly stating, “Satan get behind me.” Alashiera Grzegorzewski continued yelling statements such as “You’re a liar, you go against God,” and again stating, “Satan get behind me.”

At that point, I informed Alashiera Grzegorzewski that she was under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. I placed her in handcuffs, double locked the handcuffs, and checked them for proper fit. I then escorted her to my patrol vehicle.

While attempting to place her into the patrol vehicle, she continued to use profane language toward me, referring to me as a “bit*h,” and stated, “You’re going to die.” While assisting Alashiera Grzegorzewski into the vehicle, she began kicking me in the right leg, groin, and left upper arm. These actions caused visible scratch marks on my arms.

While en route to the Washington County Detention Center, Alashiera Grzegorzewski began kicking the door and window cage of my patrol vehicle until we arrived at the detention center.

At the time of arrest, Alashiera Grzegorzewski’s identity was not known. She provided the name “Karon Green” with a date of birth of [REDACTED]. Upon arrival at the Washington County Detention Center, Alashiera Grzegorzewski was turned over to jail staff for processing.

Multiple warrants for Alashiera Grzegorzewski were later signed by Washington County Magistrate Judge David Hartley for the following charges:

  • Giving False Name to Law Enforcement Officer – OCGA 16-10-25
  • Simple Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer – OCGA 16-5-23
  • Disorderly Conduct – OCGA 16-11-39

Warrants were also signed for Grant Grzegorzewski by Washington County Magistrate Judge David Hartley for:

  • Criminal Trespass – OCGA 16-7-21
  • Obstructing Law Enforcement Officers – OCGA 16-10-24

[NARRATIVE #2 on March 08, 2026]

On Sunday, 03/08/2026, at approximately 1830 hours, Sgt. Matt Ivey and I responded to the last known location of Grant Grzegorzewski in an attempt to locate him in reference to active warrants stemming from a previous interaction that occurred on 03/06/2026. The location was identified as the wooded area behind 1209 S Harris St, Sandersville, GA 31082 (Word of Life Church).

Upon arrival, Sgt. Ivey and I began checking the wooded area for the subject. While looking into the wood line, I observed what appeared to be a green-colored tent approximately 50 yards into the woods. Sgt. Ivey and I then entered the wooded area and began approaching the location.

As we got closer, we were able to determine the area was an established campsite. When we were approximately 20 yards from the campsite, I observed a white male subject approaching the campsite from the west side. I immediately recognized the individual as Grant Grzegorzewski.

Sgt. Ivey and I maintained our position and waited for Grant Grzegorzewski to enter the campsite. Once he reached the area, we approached and gave him verbal commands to get on the ground. Grant Grzegorzewski complied with our commands without incident.

Grant Grzegorzewski was then placed under arrest for Warrant #26-00247 — Obstructing Law Enforcement Officers and Warrant #26-00248 — Criminal Trespass. He was placed in handcuffs behind his back, which were double locked and checked for proper fit.

Grant Grzegorzewski was then transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was turned over to jail staff for processing.
