On September 2, 2025, at approximately 1255 I was dispatched to 2 vehicle crash in White County. Once arriving on scene, I determined a vehicle traveling south on SR 11 driven by Ms. Julia Robinson traveled into opposing traffic and struck a second vehicle head on. A third vehicle then struck the rear of the second vehicle. This crash resulted in the death of Ms. Robinson’s front seat passenger.

Ms. Robinson was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Once arriving at the hospital, I made contact with Ms. Robinson. Ms. Robinson stated she was driving distracted engaged in conversation with her front seat passenger. Ms. Robinson stated when she looked back to the road, she saw she was on the wrong side of the road. Ms. Robinson stated at that when she realized, “it was too late”.

On September 3, 2025, after Ms. Robinson was discharged from the hospital, I went to her residence. I placed Ms. Robinson under arrest and searched her prior to placing her in the back of my patrol car. I then transported Ms. Robinson to the White County Jail where I released her to jail personnel without further incident.

SCRTB responded and assisted in the crash investigation. SCRTB took photos of the crash scene. Corresponding SCRTB incident report number: SCRTB-060-25
