On March 2, 2026 at approximately 1010 hours, Deputies Pritchard, McKeehan, K. Warren, and Sgt. Giles arrived at [4300 BLOCK] Banks Dr in reference to serving a warrant on Alvaro Azurdia. Deputies were unable to make contact with anyone at the residence.

Deputy Warren did an internet search and was able to find a picture of an individual that matched the description of Mr. Azurdia working at Q-Cells on 300 Nexus Dr. Deputies relocated to Q-Cells. Deputies were advised by Q-Cells staff that Mr. Azurdia was employed there and working at that time. Mr. Azurdia was escorted to the front lobby where deputies were waiting on him.

Deputy Pritchard placed Mr. Azurdia in handcuffs and advised him he was under arrest. The handcuffs were double locked and checked for fit. Deputy Pritchard transported Mr. Azurdia to the Whitfield County Jail where he was turned over to intake staff. Once turned over to intake staff, Mr. Azurdia was served the Indictment Warrant (Case Number 26CR00201-M, Charges of two counts of Child Molestation). Mr. Azurdia was then booked on that warrant.
