On September 14, 2025, at approximately 0115 hours, Deputies A. Davis and M. Bandy were dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Hester Circle in reference to a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with [VICTIM #1] and [JUVENILE #1], who were standing outside the residence. Before providing a statement, [VICTIM #1] advised deputies that the offender, Christopher Watkins, had fled the scene on foot into the nearby woods.
[VICTIM #1] stated that she and Christopher have been experiencing marital issues for approximately one year, and that conflicts typically arise when Christopher consumes alcohol. [VICTIM #1] reported that she and Christopher had been arguing for several days, and during the course of the argument Christopher became physically violent. [VICTIM #1] advised that Christopher struck her multiple times with an open hand, hit her in the stomach, headbutted her on the upper right side of her cheek, and attempted to choke her by placing his hands around her neck while pinning her against both the wall and the bed. [VICTIM #1] further stated that she scratched Christopher on the face in an attempt to defend herself. She also reported that Christopher punched and shattered the bathroom mirror. [VICTIM #1] advised deputies that she is becoming increasingly fearful of Christopher due to his escalating behavior.
[JUVENILE #1] advised that she entered her parents bedroom during the incident and observed Christopher holding [VICTIM #1] against the wall by her neck. [JUVENILE #1] stated that Christopher was in [VICTIM #1]’s face and slapped her.
