[NARRATIVE #1 on July 01, 2025]
On July 1, 2025, Deputy Warren responded to Lower Kings Bridge Road at the county line regarding a report of threats. On the scene, Deputy Warren spoke to [WITNESS #1] and [VICTIM #1]. Both said they came to the river to show juvenile #1 and #2 how to fish for the first time.
[VICTIM #1] said a white male came over to talk to them and then started threatening them. [WITNESS #1] stated that his children, juvenile #1 and #2, were scared and crying. [VICTIM #1] had a video of the incident. Deputy Warren watched it. Deputy Warren later identified the male by running the tag number on his vehicle and matching the registered owner to the male in the video provided. The man’s name was Earl Rogers, and he was wearing a Trump shirt at the time of the incident.
Deputy Warren saw Mr. Rogers in a video making threats to [VICTIM #1] in front of the two juveniles and [WITNESS #1]. Mr. Rogers stated, ‘You need to talk to the president because if he drops the hammer, you will never go home.’ Mr. Rogers told [VICTIM #1] that he needed to go home to Mexico. Mr. Rogers said, “Fill your hand.” [VICTIM #1] was confused, so Mr. Rogers said “You don’t know what the fu*k I am talking about. I can go to my truck and fill my hand and then I can show you right through that big Adidas. I can show you what death is.” [VICTIM #1] was wearing an Adidas shirt with the logo on the chest.
Mr. Rogers continued “You’re a straight fu*king as*hole and told [VICTIM #1] you are from the Netherlands aint you. I’m not on your turf, you’re on my turf.” [VICTIM #1] and Mr. Rogers briefly talked about religion mentioning Jesus and Mr. Rogers said “Fu*k with me much Im going to introduce you.” Mr. Rogers told [VICTIM #1] that this wasn’t the first time. “That’s right, you don’t see 30 of you do ya?” Mr. Rogers said he was going to be back with all white boys.” “I ain’t going to swing on you brother i’ll put a cap in your a*s and you’d fall in that river and ill push you out.” Mr. Rogers said he was going to get his nephew with a badge to remove him, he’s a big ol’ boy god damn boy and whoop both of yall.”
Deputy Warren saw Mr. Rogers flip [VICTIM #1] off and said “suck on that it’s American made.” Mr. Rogers said, “I can come back, I’ve got something that will talk for me. You ain’t got sh*t Jack, wait here for 30 minutes. I’ll come back with my hands full” At this point in the video, Deputy Warren saw that [WITNESS #1] was able to de-escalate the situation, stating that his daughters were present and they were trying to fish. Mr. Rogers leaves, and they see his tag number on his grey Chevy truck with a camper, a Georgia tag of [REDACTED].
Deputy Warren determined by video that Mr. Rogers threatened to commit an act of violence towards [VICTIM #1] by indirectly threatening to go to his truck to grab a gun and shoot [VICTIM #1] in the chest through his Adidas shirt and saying he would show [VICTIM #1] what death is. Mr. Rogers also threatened to shoot [VICTIM #1] by saying he put a “cap in his a*s.” Mr. Rogers also uttered abusive words to incite an immediate breach of the peace and was in the presence of two juveniles under the age of 14. Deputy Warren spoke to [VICTIM #1], and he wished to press charges against Mr. Rogers. Deputy Warren placed the video [VICTIM #1] took of the incident into Evidence.Com.
Deputy Warren will attempt to obtain a warrant for Mr. Rogers through the Whitfield County Magistrate Court for violating OCGA 16-11-37, Terroristic threats, and two counts of OCGA 16-11-39, Disorderly Conduct. The case will remain active pending the issuance of warrants.
