On August 14, 2025 about 7:05 p.m., Deputy E. Garcia and Deputy A. Davis of the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office, in the performance of their patrol duties responded to the residence of [700 BLOCK] Timberlake Dr SE to meet with the reporting party [VICTIM #1] for a call of service regarding to a domestic dispute. In this event Deputy E. Garcia was performing the responsibilities of the primary investigating official as A. Davis performed as the secondary official providing any required assistance.

Prior to arriving at the designated address Whitfield 911 Communications acknowledged that the described alleged offender left the address in a black SUV with tinted windows and a yellow and black racecar front tag. Whitfield 911 Communications acknowledged that the boyfriend and his mother jumped on the caller. The mother hit the female with a broom, and the male held her down while the mother was beating the caller. Whitfield 911 also acknowledged that the male was hitting the female with his fist, and the mother was using a broomstick. Whitfield 911 Communications acknowledged that Ms. [VICTIM #1] was at [700 BLOCK] Timberlake Dr. SE while she waited for law enforcement. Interviews conducted were between all individuals involved at he described incident.

Arriving at the address, deputies secured the location ensuring the safety and security of the individuals then proceeded to interview each opposing party for their description of what had occurred.

Upon arrival, Deputy E. Garcia observed that Ms. [VICTIM #1] was in an unstable emotional state, very agitated, and in pain. Deputy E. Garcia also observed that Ms. [VICTIM #1] was breathing heavily. Deputy E. Garcia spoke with Ms. [VICTIM #1], who stated that she was experiencing anxiety at the time of the interview. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that everything started when she was lying on the sofa. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she wanted a blanket because her boyfriend, later identified as Nicholas Alan Long, had all of them with him. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that when she went to the bedroom to ask Mr. Long for a blanket, he pushed her down onto the sofa.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Long was supposedly her caretaker but did not fulfill that role. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Long left her alone and did not take care of her. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Long called his mother, later identified as Ella Mae Green. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she and Mr. Long had been together for seven years and that six months ago he began acting this way. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Long lived with her. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Ms. Green live in the apartments on Willowdale Rd. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that after the incident, Mr. Long and Ms. Green had left the house. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Ms. Green took her phone and her tablet. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Ms. Green and Mr. Long were strangling her.

Deputy E. Garcia observed a bleeding wound on Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s left thigh, bruises on both arms, red marks on both knees, a scratch on her left eye, and scratches on her back.

Deputy E. Garcia ran the name of the alleged offender through the RMS Whitfield Center and returned with an associated address and the mother’s name provided by Ms. [VICTIM #1]. Deputy E. Garcia showed Ms. [VICTIM #1] the photograph, and Ms. [VICTIM #1] confirmed the identity of Mr. Long.

Deputy E. Garcia spoke with [WITNESS #1], who stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] came to her door and told her that her boyfriend and the boyfriend’s mother had jumped on her. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that Ms. Green was somehow involved in the argument. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] told her that Ms. Green hit her with a broomstick. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] told her that Mr. Long had called Ms. Green to come pick him up. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that a week ago Ms. [VICTIM #1] and Mr. Long went to the store. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that when they returned from the store, Mr. Long busted Ms. [VICTIM #1] in the mouth. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] told her that Mr. Long and Ms. Green jumped on her because of a blanket. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that Ms. Green was a psychopath. Ms. [WITNESS #1] stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] told her that Ms. Green held her while Mr. Long was hitting her.

Lieutenant Deputy O’Mahony advised Deputy E. Garcia that he had contacted Mr. Long and Ms. Green at the residence located at [1900 BLOCK] Brady Dr. Deputy E. Garcia then drove to the residence provided by Lieutenant Deputy O’Mahony. Upon arrival, Lieutenant Deputy O’Mahony advised Deputy E. Garcia that upon arriving at the residence, Mr. Long asked him, and I quoted, “Are you going to arrest her too?”

Deputy E. Garcia then read Mr. Long his Miranda rights. Mr. Long stated that he would answer Deputy E. Garcia’s questions voluntarily and without the presence of an attorney. Mr. Long stated that everything started because Ms. [VICTIM #1] takes Klonopin. Mr. Long stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] always accused him of stealing her medication. Mr. Long stated that he did not steal Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s medication. Mr. Long stated that he and Ms. [VICTIM #1] got into it, which is why he called his mother to come pick him up.

Mr. Long stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] busted him in the head. Mr. Long stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] jumped on Ms. Green and stabbed her. Mr. Long stated that he grabbed Ms. [VICTIM #1] to pull her away from Ms. Green. Mr. Long stated that he told Ms. [VICTIM #1], “Stay away from my mom.” Mr. Long stated that he did not call 911 because he wanted to leave. Mr. Long stated that every month he and Ms. [VICTIM #1] had the same argument. Mr. Long stated that he and Ms. [VICTIM #1] had lived together for four years.

Deputy E. Garcia observed a scratch on Mr. Long’s right bicep and a red mark on the top of his head.

Deputy E. Garcia spoke with Ms. Green, who stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] hit the driver’s side door of her car, causing a small dent. Deputy E. Garcia observed a wooden stick between the driver’s seat and the driver’s door. Deputy E. Garcia asked Ms. Green if he could see the wooden stick, to which she agreed. Deputy E. Garcia observed that the stick had stains that could possibly be blood. Ms. Green stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] jumped on her and stabbed her in the right shoulder with a pair of scissors.

Deputy E. Garcia observed a bleeding wound on Ms. Green’s right shoulder, a bruise below the previously mentioned wound, bruises on her right bicep, a scratch on her left cheek, a bruise on her left lip, a scratch on her right eye, and a scratch on her left wrist.

Deputy E. Garcia collected the wooden stick from Ms. Green and photographs of the injuries of the parties involved as evidence in the website evidence.com.

In conclusion of the investigated incident Deputy E. Garcia reasonably believes the state’s violation of battery was committed by Nicholas Alan Long therefore he was taken in custody, handcuffed checking for fit and double locked. Mr. Long was then transported to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. Mr. Long is being charged with one count of O.C.G.A. 16-5-23.1 Battery and that of Family Violence on Warrantless Arrest No. 70717 and tendered with Mr. Long’s criminal history document to show fact of prior history of Family Violence. Mr. Long was left in the detention’s custody with no other action from the agency.

In conclusion of the investigated incident Deputy E. Garcia reasonably believes the state’s violation of battery, aggravated assault, and being a party to a crime was committed by Ella Mae Green therefore she was taken in custody, handcuffed checking for fit and double locked. Ms. Green was then transported to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. Ms. Green is being charged with one count of O.C.G.A. 16-5-23.1 Battery, one count of O.C.G.A. 16-5-21 Aggravated Assault and one count of O.C.G.A. 16-2-20, Being a Party to a Crime on Warrantless Arrest No. 70718 and tendered with is Ms. Green’s criminal history document to show fact of prior history. Ms. Green was left in the detention’s custody with no other action from the agency.
