[NARRATIVE #1 on June 12, 2026]
On 06/09/2026 at approximately 0823 hours, Deputy Crane and Deputy Vazquez were dispatched to a call in reference to a hit and run at 300 Nexus Drive (Hanwha Q-Cells).
Upon arrival at Nexus Drive, Deputy Crane made contact with the vehicle’s registered owner, [VICTIM #1]. Mr. [VICTIM #1] informed Deputy Crane that his blue Toyota Celica (Georgia registration #[REDACTED]) had been struck by another vehicle that left the scene on 06/03/26. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that he spoke with the HRBP manager, [WITNESS #1], about the incident, and Mr. [WITNESS #1] told Mr. [VICTIM #1] that they could not give him the suspect’s personal information at the moment.
Mr. [VICTIM #1] showed the deputies where the damage was located at the driver’s side rear tire well. Deputy Crane and Deputy Vazquez observed a large dent along with a white paint transfer along the left side of the vehicle. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that when this incident occurred on the previous date, another deputy went to the scene; however, there was not enough evidence to make a report at the time.
Deputy Crane and Deputy Vazquez proceeded inside Q-Cells, where they met with the HRBP Manager, Mr. [WITNESS #1]. Mr. [WITNESS #1] showed the deputies multiple pictures of the alleged vehicle and person involved (Luis Rivera) in the incident; however, he could not provide a registration number. Mr. Rivera was seen getting out of his vehicle and checking the area of damage upon leaving the parking lot.
Deputy Crane and Deputy Vazquez attempted to make contact with Mr. Rivera again at Q-Cells, and Mr. [WITNESS #1] informed them that he did not clock in for work on this date. Deputy Crane completed an E-file warrant #W26-961 for Mr. Rivera under the charge of 40-6-270 Hit and Run.

[NARRATIVE #2 on June 12, 2026]
On June 12, 2026 Deputy Kirby took Luis Angel Rivera into custody at the Whitfield County Court House in reference to a warrant and transported him to the Whitfield County Jail. Upon arriving, Deputy Kirby served Mr Rivera with Warrant Number: W26-961, Case Number: 2026-947571WM, Original Offense being: Count 1-40-6-270 Hit and Run; Duty to Stop at or Return to Scene of Accident.
