On July 8th 2025, Deputy Espy spoke with Ms. Majesty Bonds via phone in regards to a child custody incident.

Ms. Bonds stated that the custody dispute involved her ex-boyfriend Mr. [WITNESS #1] and their child juvenile 1. Ms. Bonds stated Mr. [WITNESS #1] and herself are not married and Mr. [WITNESS #1] has not been legitimized as the father of their juvenile.

Ms. Bonds stated that on July 1st 2025, she allowed her ex-boyfriend Mr. [WITNESS #1] to have custody of their child for the 4th of July weekend. Ms. Bonds stated that Mr. [WITNESS #1] was supposed to take their child to Summerville, Georgia.

Ms. Bonds stated that she requested that Mr. [WITNESS #1] return their child on Sunday, July 6th. Ms. Bonds stated her mother informed her that on that Sunday, Mr. [WITNESS #1] arrived at her residence and asked to retrieve some of their child’s clothes and items. Ms. Bonds stated that she was currently not at her residence on that day and was instead in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Bonds stated that she was informed by her mother that Mr. [WITNESS #1] did not have juvenile 1 with him.

Ms. Bonds stated that she came to an agreement with Mr. [WITNESS #1] that he was to bring their child to her the following day on Monday July 7th. Ms. Bonds stated that her mother told her that Mr. [WITNESS #1] grabbed clothes and items for their child and left the residence on Sunday. Ms. Bonds stated that when Monday arrived, Mr. [WITNESS #1] did not show up to her residence. Ms. Bonds stated she attempted to contact Mr. [WITNESS #1] by phone about returning their child and he refused. Ms. Bonds stated that Mr. [WITNESS #1] told her that he would return their child only if she agreed to sign her rights to the child over to him. Ms. Bonds stated she refused to sign her right of custody over to Mr. [WITNESS #1].

Ms. Bonds stated after she refused Mr. [WITNESS #1] began declining her calls. Ms. Bonds stated that on this date, Mr. [WITNESS #1] sent her a message saying that she would need to come to his residence in Gadsen, Alabama to pick up their child. Ms. Bond stated that Mr. [WITNESS #1] told her that she would need to “bring her cousins” with her to pick up their child. Ms. Bonds stated she believed that Mr. [WITNESS #1] was implying that her cousins would have to fight him for their child.

Ms. Bonds requested Deputy Espy attempt to contact Mr. [WITNESS #1] to resolve the matter before legal action was taken.

Deputy Espy made contact with Mr. [WITNESS #1] via phone. Mr. [WITNESS #1] agreed that he was not legitimized as the father of his child. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that last Tuesday, he decided to pick up Ms. Bonds and his child. However, Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that he decided to do this because he was afraid that his child was in danger. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated he believed this because on July 1st, Ms. Bonds sent him several messages over Facebook stating that she would beat their child if he did not come pick up their child up and sent him photos of her harming his child and another child that did not belong to him.

Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated he traveled from his residence in Alabama to Ms. Bonds residence located at [100 BLOCK] South Hallmark Heights in Dalton, Georgia to pick up his child. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated when he picked up juvenile 1, Ms. Bonds and himself did not agree on a day that he would bring juvenile 1 back.

Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that between July 1st and July 6th, Ms. Bonds and himself got into a verbal argument over the phone over him returning juvenile 1 and he refused to return her because he was frightened for her safety. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that when he received the photos, he notified his family of the incident and they notified the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that he would return the child if he was requested to do so by law enforcement. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated he could not provide the photos of the messages sent by Ms. Bonds at this time. Mr. [WITNESS #1] agreed to meet Ms. Bonds at the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office to return juvenile 1 to Ms. Bonds and would provide the photos of the messages sent by Ms. Bonds to Deputy Espy.

Deputy Espy contacted Ms. Bonds and notified her that Mr. [WITNESS #1] agreed to return their child and would meet with her at the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Espy later responded to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office to meet with Mr. [WITNESS #1] and Ms. Bonds in regards to the child custody exchange. Deputy Espy arrived at 1725 hours and made contact with Mr. [WITNESS #1] at this time. Ms. Bonds was not on the scene. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that Ms. Bonds would not be responding to their location, but would be sending juvenile 1’s babysitter. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated he would meet the babysitter at a separate location.

Mr. [WITNESS #1] provided Deputy Espy with printed copies of the Facebook messages that were sent to him by Ms. Bonds. Mr. [WITNESS #1] advised that he was relocating to turn juvenile 1 over to Ms. Bonds babysitter at a separate location. Mr. [WITNESS #1] left the scene at this time with juvenile 1.

Deputy Espy observed printed papers at this time. Deputy Espy observed the messages were sent by Ms. Majesty Bonds and consisted of her stating, “can I stop im bout goin crazy and start hurtin my kids” Then a picture was sent to Mr. [WITNESS #1] that consisted of a small in stature African American juvenile bent over a couch and she was crying while a baby stroller was lying on the floor behind the couch with an infant tucked inside.

The following message from Ms. Bonds, she stated, “i hit her, csn befor i slap her, [REDACTED] next, caus i’m hurt and need hurt pleat, ion have nobody to help me, i’m alone, i’m sorry askin u for help”. The next photo displayed juvenile 1’s stroller flipped over and underneath the stroller there appeared to be an infant’s hand sticking out. The message that followed the photo stated, “through her in the ground”. Deputy Espy observed a missed audio call from Ms. Bonds then her messaging, “I hop”. Deputy Espy observed that the photo that followed it was of an African American female adult’s hand pulling on juvenile 1’s hair on the top of her head and juvenile 1 crying.

The following message from Ms. Bonds stated, “puttin her face in water next”. Deputy Espy observed that the next message from Ms. Bonds entailed a photo of the same female hand holding the back of juvenile 1’s head and the message that followed stated, “u did this”. Deputy Espy observed two missed calls at approximately 0927 hours. Deputy Espy next observed two photos of what was presumed to be juvenile 1. The first photo was of juvenile 1 nude in a bath tub crying and attempting to climb out of the bath tub. The second photo was of an adult hand pushing juvenile 1’s head under the water inside the bath tub.

Deputy Espy observed that the next four messages sent after the photo stated in order, “i hate her, cause you hate me, ur daughter goin to feel the pain too, she has to”. Deputy Espy observed that the photo following these messages consisted of a zoomed out photo of an adult female hand pushing juvenile 1’s head under water inside a bath tub and the message that followed stated, “u did this”. Deputy Espy observed the following messages entailed Ms. Bonds arranging when Mr. [WITNESS #1] would pick up their juvenile child.

Deputy Espy took photos of all the messages sent to Mr. [WITNESS #1] by Ms. Bonds and submitted them to AXON evidence.com to submit as evidence. Deputy Espy observed that the juvenile in the photos matched juvenile 1’s physical description when he met with Mr. [WITNESS #1] and juvenile 1.

Due to the abusive and cruel nature of the photos sent to Mr. [WITNESS #1] by Ms. Bonds, Deputy Espy called Mr. [WITNESS #1] by phone and advised him to not relinquish custody of juvenile 1 to Ms. Bonds. Deputy Espy advised Mr. [WITNESS #1] to attempt to turn juvenile 1 over to one of Ms. Bonds relatives or to retain custody of juvenile 1. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that he had already relinquished custody of juvenile 1 to Ms. Bonds babysitter. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated that the babysitter was in route to Ms. Bonds residence located at [100 BLOCK] Hallmark Heights Apartment [REDACTED].

Deputy Espy advised Mr. [WITNESS #1] that the case would be left active for investigation and the Department of Family and Child Services would be contacted in regards to juvenile 1 being removed from Ms. Bonds home and relocated to a safe location.

Deputy Byrd and Sgt. Southern transported Majesty to Whitfield County Jail where she was turned over to booking staff and Deputy Byrd served the warrant.
