On January 20, 2026 at approximately 1317 hours, Deputies Findley and Sharp were dispatched to [100 BLOCK] W Welcome Hill Cir in reference to a disturbance. Sgt Giles was nearby so he arrived on scene first. Upon arrival, Deputy Findley spoke with Sgt Giles.
Sgt Giles said so far the only thing he has been able to figure out is that Tasia is mad because her parents took her kids away, but he has not figured out the context due to Tasia just yelling. Deputy Findley then attempted to speak with Tasia. Tasia started yelling about how her mother, [WITNESS #1], did not love her growing up, and other off topic things while yelling and cussing.
Throughout Tasia’s constant yelling and cussing, Deputy Findley was able to determine that Tasia was claiming that [WITNESS #1] and her father, [WITNESS #2], took her kids from her at another residence then brought them to this residence and is refusing to let her take them. Tasia was also claiming that [WITNESS #2] punched her in the mouth, which was bleeding at this time.
During this time, Deputy Findley observed Tasia’s eyes to be glassy, and a strong odor of alcoholic beverage to coming from her person, which Sgt Giles also acknowledged he smelled the alcoholic odor as well. While still trying to communicate with Tasia she continued yelling over Deputies when they tried to talk and refused to listen to any potential solution. After some time passed, Deputy Findley realized he was not making any progress with the investigation into what happened, so he advised Tasia to put her hands behind her back, which she did. Deputy Findley then handcuffed Tasia and placed her in the rear of his patrol vehicle without incident.
Deputy Findley then spoke with [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #2]. [WITNESS #1] said Tasia was at another residence, and had been there since the previous date. [WITNESS #1] said Tasia called her and told her that she locked her keys in the car, so [WITNESS #1], [WITNESS #2], and Tasia’s brother, [REDACTED], went to take the key to her.
[WITNESS #1] said when they arrived, they all immediately realized that Tasia was under the influence of alcohol. [WITNESS #1] said she and [WITNESS #2] got the kids and put them in their car, and brought them home. [WITNESS #1] said [REDACTED] drove Tasia and her car back home as well. [WITNESS #1] said Tasia then came into the house yelling and cussing at everyone, saying she is taking her kids and leaving. [WITNESS #1] said Tasia was acting so crazy, she fell over and busted her mouth on either the floor, or something on the floor.
[WITNESS #2] informed the same story as [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #2] said when Tasia came into the residence screaming, she tripped over something that was sitting in the front of the door and managed to bust her mouth, causing it to bleed. [WITNESS #2] said Tasia told him that she was going to tell deputies that he hit her so he would go to jail.
Tasia was then transported to the Whitfield County Jail. Deputy Findley obtained warrant #W26-123 for Disorderly Conduct. Tasia was served with the warrant.
