Officer’s Narrative:

On March 9, 2026 at 2133 I was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to a disturbance in progress with a male who I learned was Tayrin Davis.

When I arrived on scene, I went inside [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and spotted Tayrin. Tayrin walked up to Officer Ellenburg and I. Tayrin stated that he wanted us to arrest him and that he wanted to go to jail. Tayrin also began to cry and was stating that he wanted to die. Tayrin seemed like he was agitated, so we placed him in handcuffs until we could figure out what was going on.

We then took Tayrin out to the front of Officer Ellenburg’s patrol car to search his person for any possible contraband. Once we placed Tayrin into the patrol car he stated that he was just kidding and that he did not want to die. Shortly after this, Tayrin started to cry again, stating that he wanted to die and he wanted to go to jail.

I met with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who is a [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Tayrin had charged at her and was hitting the walls, stating that he wanted to go to jail. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Tayrin was trying to intimidate her and others by getting in their faces and trying to fight. [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not wish to press charges.

I then spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who is an [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she saw Tayrin charge at [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Tayrin has been problematic for the past 2 to 3 days but has escalated since 7 pm today. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Tayrin has been threatening to hit others at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and has been trying to antagonize others [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated to me that Tayrins last known address was [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and that he came to [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also stated that before Tayrin was at [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. He was in jail in Smyrna. [REDACTED] stated that Tayrin’s next of kin contact is his mom, [REDACTED]. Her phone number is [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Tayrin is [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

[REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Tayrin had come up to him stating that he was going to “beat his a*s”. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then stated that he told Tayrin to do it and if he touched him, he was going to hit him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then stated that staff came in between the two of them and separated them. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not want to press charges.

I then spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Tayrin had been following him and had been calling him names in an attempt to try to pick a fight. [REDACTED] then stated that when this did not work, Tayrin then walked into the bathroom when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was in there. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then stated that Tayrin had taken his shirt off, tuned the lights off, and closed the door. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then stated that after Tayrin closed the door, he threatened to kill him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not want to press charges.

I then spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Tayrin was trying to pick a fight with him by using racial slurs and was making homophobic statements towards him in an attempt to pick a fight. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then stated that when this did not work, Tayrin then threatened to kill him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also stated that he witnessed Tayrin do the same actions towards other [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did want to press charges.

Lastly I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED] stated that Tayrin had been becoming increasingly problematic since she arrived at work at 7 pm. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Tayrin had been making sexual innuendos towards her and was implying that she had been inappropriate with him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that this was untrue. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also stated that Tayrin was making kissing faces at her.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that since Tayrin had been trying to pick fights with many of the other [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She began to follow him around the [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that when she began to do this, Tayrin had begun to get angry at her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then stated that Tayrin had gotten in her face and was making homophobic statements towards her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also stated that while Tayrin had been in her face he stated that if she did not stop following him around that he would kill her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she wants to press charges.

I then decided to charge Tayrin with the following offenses:

OCGA 16-11-37 Terroristic threats and acts (felony) (2 counts)
OCGA 16-11-39 Disorderly conduct (2 counts)

Tayrin Davis committed the offense of OCGA 16-11-37 Terroristic threats and acts (felony) when he threatened [REDACTED BY AGENCY] by stating that he was going to kill him when he was walking around with others present. This caused [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to fear for his life.

Tayrin Davis committed the offense of OCGA 16-11-39 Disorderly conduct when he acted in a violent manner toward [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. He did this when he was using homophobic slurs. Tayrin also used “fighting words” when he was threatening and attempting to entice [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to fight him by getting in [REDACTED BY AGENCY] face, threatening to kill him.

Tayrin Davis committed the offense of OCGA 16-11-37 Terroristic threats and acts (felony) when he threatened [REDACTED BY AGENCY] by stating that he was going to kill her when he was walking around with others present. This caused [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to fear for her life.

Tayrin Davis committed the offense of OCGA 16-11-39 Disorderly conduct when he acted in a violent manner toward [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. He did this when he was using homophobic slurs and “fighting words”. Tayrin also threatened [REDACTED BY AGENCY] by getting in her face, threatening to kill her.

Officer Ellenburg transported Tayrin to the jail. I then filled out a warrantless arrest form (number 65170) and ran a criminal history on Tayrin. [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I turned in all of the paperwork and the criminal history to booking staff.
