Follow Teen arrested after stabbing 3-year-old girl in North Georgia

WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. – Authorities arrested a 17-year-old female and charged her with aggravated assault for stabbing a three-year-old girl at a Derby Drive residence in Cohutta on Thursday, June 13, 2024.
According to the Whitfield County Sheriff, a relative transported the victim to a local EMS station. Officials then flew the child to Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.
Police have yet to release the victim’s identity and condition, as well as the relationship between her and the suspect. This case is pending.
