[NARRATIVE #1 on February 25, 2026]

On February 25, 2026 at approximately 2242 hours Deputy C. Cole, Deputy P. Kell, and Deputy J. Middlebrooks were dispatched to [400 BLOCK] Holcomb Road in reference to a domestic dispute in progress.

Deputies arrived on scene and began to speak with the caller, [VICTIM #1] who stated that her ex daughter-in-law, Xena, arrived on scene with her children and appeared to be intoxicated, and that she had locked herself in the bedroom at the residence. [VICTIM #1] stated that Xena no longer lived at the residence.

Deputies went inside the residence to speak with Xena who stated that she was there to see the children and that her and her ex mother-in-law had been in an argument over Xena’s ex-husband [WITNESS #1] and his behavior. Xena asked to step outside for the time being and went with Deputy J. Middlebrooks to the back yard of the residence.

Deputy C. Cole and P. Kell began to speak with [VICTIM #1] again who stated that Xena came home with the odor of alcohol on her breath and that Xena and [WITNESS #1] began to argue over that. [VICTIM #1] stated that her and Xena began to argue and Xena threatened to “beat her a*s” and that she “wasn’t afraid to do so”.

Deputy C. Cole and P. Kell spoke with juvenile 1 on scene who stated that her grandmother, [VICTIM #1] and her mother, Xena were in an argument and that Xena said “not nice stuff” to her grandmother.

Deputy C. Cole and P. Kell went back outside and began to speak with Xena about the altercation. Xena admitted that she called [VICTIM #1] a “c*nt”, however stated that [VICTIM #1] got in her face first. Xena also mentioned that she had a Temporary Protection Order stating that she was not allowed to be around the children.

Deputy C. Cole and Deputy P. Kell went back to the patrol car to contact Central Control for the Whitfield County Sheriffs office to inquire about the Temporary Protection Order, however one was not found. Deputy C. Cole and Deputy P. Kell went back to Xena and advised her that no Temporary Protection order was in place.

Deputy C. Cole and Deputy P. Kell went back into the residence to ask [VICTIM #1] to make contact with her son, [WITNESS #1] to obtain information about the Temporary Protection Order. [WITNESS #1] stated that she was served one in a mental institution, but did not have the order with him. [VICTIM #1] provided a Ex Parte order stating that Xena was only allowed at the residence when she was invited.

At this time, Deputies were unable to determine the primary aggressor in the altercation. Deputies then asked Xena to contact someone to come get her. Xena contacted her sister, who was then trying to wake her father up to come get her. Xena then began to yell “f*ck you dad” multiple times. Xena then stood up and took the phone out of Deputy C. Cole’s hands and try to walk off. Deputy P. Kell told Xena to sit down to figure it out and find her a ride. Xena then started to shout “f*ck you” multiple times at the Deputies.

[NARRATIVE #2 on February 26, 2026]

On February 26, 2026 at approximately 2245 hours Deputies Middlebrooks, Kell, and Cole were dispatched to [400 BLOCK] Holcomb Road in reference to the callers, [VICTIM #1], ex-daughter in law, Xena Elrod being at the residence arguing and trying to fight everyone while possibly being intoxicated.

Deputies arrived on scene and spoke with [VICTIM #1] who stated Xena arrived a few moments prior with her son. [VICTIM #1] added that Xena entered into the residence and became very hostile and argumentative. At which time [VICTIM #1] stated she asked Xena to leave and Xena refused to leave, and began yelling at her, before locking herself in one of the bedrooms. Deputy Middlebrooks followed Deputy Cole into the bedroom where Xena was staying while he asked her basic interview questions.

Deputy Cole then exited the bedroom to speak with [VICTIM #1] again while Deputy Middlebrooks stood with Xena. While Deputy Cole was speaking with [VICTIM #1], Xena overheard their conversation and began cussing. At which time Deputy Middlebrooks kindly asked Xena to not speak to [VICTIM #1]. Xena then asked Deputy Middlebrooks if she could step outside, Deputy Middlebrooks stated that would be fine and escorted Xena out to the front porch.

While out on the porch, Deputies Cole and Kell were exiting the residence and began walking toward Deputy Kell’s patrol vehicle. While deputies were in their patrol vehicle, Xena became argumentative toword Deputy Middlebrooks stating “just arrest me go for it”. Deputy Middlebrooks explained that he does not want to take her to jail, and that they are just needing all sides of the story.

Xena began raising her voice and Deputy Middlebrooks asked why she was being that way. Xena stated it was due to having depression and anxiety medicine that wasn’t working for her. Xena kept arguing with Deputy Middlebrooks, so he asked her to lower her voice. At which time Xena stated that Deputy Middlebrooks was being an “a*shole and a d*ck”.

Xena then began crying uttering words that were uncomprehendable. Xena then abruptly stood up and tried to push herself past Deputy Middlebrooks who was in front of the door to the residence. Deputy Middlebrooks then explained that she could not enter into the residence right now and that she needed to sit back down, Xena repeated “why” multiple times while Deputy Middlebrooks gave verbal commands to sit back down. Xena than sat back down and stated “you act like I’m scared of you when my husband actually beats the sh*t out of me.”

Deputy Middlebrooks replied that he never asked her to be scared of him, he just did not want her to enter back in and begin arguing and fighting with [VICTIM #1]. Xena then kept attempting to get Deputy Middlebrooks to engage with her in an argument.

Deputy Cole and Kell then returned from Deputy Kell’s patrol vehicle to ask Xena follow up questions. At which time Xena stood up stating “okay f*ck y’all” and attempted to barge past deputies Kell and Cole while continuing to say “No I’m done I’m gonna walk down the road”. Deputy Kell then asked Xena to stop where she was that he was not finished asking her questions. Xena then begin to pull away as Deputy Kell attempted to get her hands behind her back.

Once deputies attempted to apprehend her she began resisting and screaming “No F*CK OFF”. At which time deputies put handcuffs on Xena’s wrist and had to pick her up and carry her to Deputy Kell’s patrol vehicle.

While Deputy Cole transported Xena to the Whitfield County Detention Center, it was discovered that [VICTIM #1] had a video recording of the initial argument on her telephone. Deputy Middlebrooks provided [VICTIM #1] with a link to evidence.com and instructed her to upload the video. This report is a supplemental to report number 202600965.
