On the above date and time I spoke with the victim at the Sheriff’s office. She stated that she and the offender have been together for about 9 years and had got into an altercation. The victim stated that the offender owes her some money for some work that she had did for him. She stated that she was sitting in her car when the offender came up to her and told her that he was going to take her truck. She told him that he could not use the truck and that he needed to give her the money that he owed her.

She stated that the offender then jumped in her vehicle on top of her and started twisting her neck and hitting her in the head and shoulder while screaming that he was going to kill her. She stated that she tried to get her gun from the glove compartment of the vehicle but he pinned her arms down and continued to hit her in the head and should. The victim stated that she was finally about to talk the offender down so he would let her go. She stated that he kept saying that he was going to kill her because she was going to send him back to jail. The way she was able to make him let her go was to tell him that she was not going to send him to jail.

The victim stated that the offender let her up and then got in her truck and drove away after she told him that he could not use her vehicle.
