I was dispatched to [300 BLOCK] Allen Memorial Drive Lot [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic in progress.

Upon arrival I made contact the victim [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that she and her daughter, Armanie Bland, were arguing about paying rent on the home. [VICTIM #1] stated Armanie started to become more aggressive as the argument continued. [VICTIM #1] stated at one point [VICTIM #1]’s son [WITNESS #1] got in between she and Armanie to try to defuse the argument. [VICTIM #1] stated that Armanie then attempted to strike her several times, but ultimately missed. [VICTIM #1] stated she tried to defend herself while [WITNESS #1] was in the middle to them. [VICTIM #1] stated her dad [WITNESS #2] also attempted to get in between [VICTIM #1] and Armanie. [VICTIM #1] stated when she and Armanie were separated, she stepped outside and call 911.

I made contact with Armanie Bland. Armanie stated her mother came to the house, and the two began arguing about Armanie having to move out of the house in 2 weeks if she did not pay the rent. Armanie stated she became upset with her mom because she thought is was unfair that she had to pay rent, due to Armanie just starting a new job. Armanie admitted to attempting to strike [VICTIM #1].

I made contact with [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated Armanie and [VICTIM #1] were arguing and Armanie tried to hit [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated he got in between them in an attempt to separate them. [WITNESS #1] stated Armanie attempted to strike [VICTIM #1] while he was in between them.

I made contact with [WITNESS #2]. [WITNESS #2] stated he heard [VICTIM #1] and Armanie arguing from his room. [WITNESS #2] stated when the argument became aggressive, he intervened in the attempt to keep Armanie from hitting [VICTIM #1].

Armanie was placed in handcuffs, double locked and escorted to my patrol car. Armanie was transported to the jail and turned over to jail staff. Bland was charged with Disorderly Conduct.
