On 06/05/2026 at approximately 0003 hours. I was dispatched to the location of [2200 BLOCK] Kings Row, in reference to shots fired.

Upon my arrival. I observed [VICTIM #1] lying on his right side facing south. I observed a gunshot wound to his upper right side. [VICTIM #1]’s Youngest son, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], apply pressure to the wound. [REDACTED] advised me to help because his two nieces, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY], were inside the residence. [VICTIM #1]’s daughter, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], was partially sitting in the grey Toyota pickup truck facing North. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised she had a gunshot wound in her hip. I observed a black semi-automatic pistol laying in the grass covered with blood and the slide was open. After clearing the immediate area, I began rendering aid to [VICTIM #1] and stood by until EMS arrived. EMS arrived at approximately 0008 hours and began rendering aid.

Officer Webb then detained [VICTIM #1]’s son, Eric Veal Jr, while doing a protective sweep of the residence and put him in the cage of the police car.

I then stood on the porch in the doorway of the residence, making sure the firearm was secured in the grass as well as making sure [REDACTED BY AGENCY], [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stayed in the living room. Shortly after [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] were transported via EMS to the hospital.

While standing in the doorway I overheard [REDACTED BY AGENCY] while he was on the phone with his sister, [REDACTED]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised [VICTIM #1] and Eric Veal Jr had been arguing and there was an altercation between the two. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised [VICTIM #1] and Eric Veal Jr had been drinking. [REDACTED] advised she was on the way to pick [REDACTED BY AGENCY], [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] up. Once [REDACTED] arrived [REDACTED BY AGENCY], [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] were released to her.

Officer Webb and I then transported Eric Veal Jr to the Milledgeville Police Department, 125 Floyd Griffen Street. Upon our arrival at MPD, Eric Veal Jr’s custody was transferred to Lieutenant January of the Detective Bureau.

I then returned to the scene in reference to assisting Detective Quattrocchi with evidence collection. Upon our investigation we found 2 bullet entries in the neighbor’s house, [2200 BLOCK] Leo Court. One of the entries was in the top left corner of the home near the roof, and the other was centered. I then attempted to contact the owner to verify everyone was okay.

[VICTIM #3] advised he and his wife, [VICTIM #4], along with their two children, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [VICTIM #5] were in the home. [VICTIM #3] advised there were no injuries. I observed where a bullet projectile entered on the far-right wall traveling through the living room and entered in the bottom right corner of the TV, then entered the close-left wall. After looking in the other rooms, I did not observe any more damage to the inside of the home. [VICTIM #3] advised the TV’s value was approximately $600.
