On 03/21/2026 at approximately 1158 hours, I was dispatched to the Local Yolkal, 117 West Hancock Street, where I contacted the complainant, [VICTIM #1], in reference to threats.
On arrival, I located the complainant and the female making threats, Franchella Brown, standing at the intersection of North Wayne Street and West Hancock Street.
[VICTIM #1] stated Brown asked her to buy her some food, to which [VICTIM #1] refused. [VICTIM #1] advised when she refused, Brown became angry and threatened to, “Beat her a*s” while screaming and cursing. [VICTIM #1] advised she wished to pursue charges. [VICTIM #1]’ husband, [WITNESS #1], witnessed the threats being made towards [VICTIM #1].
I contacted Brown who admitted to making the threat but advised she gets angry when she’s hungry and that was why she made the threats.
Brown was then placed into double-locking handcuffs, per departmental policy, and placed under arrest for 62-5 Disorderly Conduct. Brown was then transported to the Baldwin County Law Enforcement Center, 119 Old Monticello Road, without further incident. Brown was booked on a citation.
