On 04/27/2026 at approximately 1251 hours, I was dispatched to Riverbend Apartments, [200 BLOCK] North Lincoln Court, Apartment [REDACTED], where I contacted the complainant, [VICTIM #1], in reference to an assault.
[VICTIM #1] advised a female he knew by the name of Sharon West, had gotten into an argument with him. [VICTIM #1] stated during the argument, West kicked him in his leg. [VICTIM #1] stated he had no physical altercation with West and was struck by her. [VICTIM #1] advised he wished to pursue charges against West.
I contacted West who appeared heavily intoxicated and had a strong odor of alcohol coming from her person. West initially stated [VICTIM #1] came to her residence and was upset over his power being out at his apartment and blamed her for the power outage. West stated she attempted to get [VICTIM #1] to leave the residence, but he would not. West stated she was then struck by [VICTIM #1] and she kicked him in return. West stated her brother witnessed the entire incident.
I contacted West’s brother who advised West kicked [VICTIM #1]’s wheelchair. West stated he wished to not be apart of the situation but did confirm West kicked [VICTIM #1]’s wheelchair.
Officer Yawn then placed West into double-locking handcuffs departmental policy and she was transported to the Baldwin County Law Enforcement Center, 119 Old Monticello Road, without incident.
While on the way to the Baldwin LEC, West made statements of her own admission and advised she did kick [VICTIM #1]’s wheelchair and confirmed [VICTIM #1] did not strike her.
