I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Youngblood Road in reference to a possible domestic altercation. The complainant, Veronica Vinson, stated on the 911 line that someone was bothering her. Dispatchers could hear what sounded like a fight in the background.

Upon arrival, I made contact with Vinson’s husband, [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated Vinson had been drinking and was irate.

I stepped inside the residence and made contact with Vinson. Vinson stated she did not call for deputies and there was no problem. I asked Vinson why she called 911. Vinson stated her husband was trying to tell her to go to bed, and she no longer needed our assistance. Vinson also stated people were trying to rape her. When I inquired as to who these people were, she would not answer.

Over the past five months, Vinson has made several 911 calls where no services were needed.

Vinson was placed under arrest and transported to the jail, where she was turned over to jail personnel without incident.

A warrant for unlawful conduct during a 911 call was secured for Vinson.
