[NARRATIVE #1 on October 23, 2022]

On October 23, 2022, Deputy Mathis responded to Funopolis in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, Deputy Mathis spoke with C1 who advised her daughter, V1 was at work when O1 smacked her on the buttocks as she walked by.

Deputy Mathis spoke with V1 who advised she was working a birthday party and was assisting one of the children. As she finished helping the children, V1 stated she walked back by O1 who was sitting down and he smacked her on the buttocks. V1 advised she immediately went and told W2 about the incident. V1 went and contacted C1 who then responded to the scene.

W2 stated that he contacted W1 who rented the room for the birthday party. W2 stated that W1 informed him that the male was his wife’s stepfather and he provided a phone number for O1. W2 advised that W1 told him that he was not comfortable providing the suspects name.

Deputy Mathis began viewing surveillance and observed the incident, V1 was walking by, and as she was doing so, O1 began looking at her and smiling. As she was almost past O1 he reached out with his phone in hand and smacked V1 on the buttocks.

Deputy Mathis continued watching footage and observed the male exit the business and walk towards a vehicle. O1 went out of view of the camera and approximately 30 to 60 seconds later, a white GMC Sierra pickup truck bearing Ga tag [REDACTED] began exiting the parking lot.

Funopolis has a camera angled to to obtain tag numbers as the vehicles leave. You can see the driver of the truck was of the same build and was wearing the same color white shirt and was wearing a hat. An inquiry search of the tag was performed through GCIC/NCIC and returned to O1.

The picture attached of O1 to the license return looks like O1 in the surveillance footage. Per GCIC/NCIC the capture date to the license picture was 12-02-2015. A video of the incident as well as a screenshot of the O1 was uploaded to evidence.com. A copy of the reservation was also uploaded to the report. The reservation has the renters contact information on it.

After viewing the physical evidence and surveillance footage that I, Deputy Mathis had obtained during the incident, a warrant for Sexual Battery has been taken on Ronald Ard.
