[NARRATIVE #1 on August 13, 2026]
On August 13, 2026, I responded to [600 BLOCK] Thorn Brook Ridge regarding a domestic that occurred a few hours prior. When I arrived, I met with [VICTIM #1] and her mother.
Based on my initial observation, it was apparent that [VICTIM #1] had been in a physical altercation. [VICTIM #1] had blood on both sides of her neck and on the bridge of her nose. As I began asking about [VICTIM #1]’s injuries, I could also see she had redness and bruises starting to form on her neck. I asked [VICTIM #1] if she was choked during the physical altercation, to which she stated yes. After asking [VICTIM #1] a few times if she would like to be checked out by EMS, she agreed. While waiting for EMS, I got [VICTIM #1]’s side of the story.
[VICTIM #1] stated that her husband, Jason Evans, came home mad because he is a jealous man. [VICTIM #1] stated she was going to take a bath; however, that didn’t get to happen. [VICTIM #1] stated that while she and Jason were arguing, Jason slapped her across the face. After being slapped, [VICTIM #1] fell into the chair in the living room. While in the chair, [VICTIM #1] stated that Jason just kept yelling at her and hitting her on both sides of the head. After being hit several times, Jason began choking [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] told me that she did feel her airway become restricted and wasn’t sure how she was going to make it out of the situation.
After being choked and beaten, Jason stopped and told [VICTIM #1] that she wasn’t allowed to get out of the chair she was in. [VICTIM #1] stated she was, in fact, going to get out of the chair so she could get a beer. When [VICTIM #1] got up, she opened the back door as quickly as she could. After getting the back door open, Jason tackled her to the ground. While on the ground, [VICTIM #1] began screaming for help, which caused Jason to get off of her and leave the residence.
[VICTIM #1] stated she tried to call 911 5 times but could not bring herself to do it. She had to call her mom and wait for her before she could make the call. Based on [VICTIM #1]’s injuries correlating with her story, I determined there was enough probable cause to take warrants on Jason. Warrants will be obtained for Aggravated Assault Family Violence (OCGA 16-5-21), False Imprisonment (OCGA 16-5-41), and Battery (OCGA 16-5-23.1).
[VICTIM #1] was provided with a family violence pamphlet. Pictures of [VICTIM #1]’s injuries will be attached to this report. Jason was gone prior to my arrival at the residence. Jason’s truck is attached to this report and has been added to Flock.
