Officer’s Narrative:

On May 2, 2026, at approximately 1128 hours, I responded to an agency assist with EMS in reference to a possible Overdose.

Upon arriving on scene, I spoke with [REDACTED]. He stated that he received a call from his [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. He stated that she called and asked for help, telling him that she was scared. She told him that she needed a ride. She then told him that she was being forced by her boyfriend, Johnathan Harper, to roll up her sleeves and take drugs. [REDACTED] stated that he then called his friends, [REDACTED] and [REDACTED], since they were closer than he was.

I then spoke with the both of them, and they stated that when they arrived [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was on the ground outside the camper and appeared to be having a [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. They stated that when Johnathan saw [REDACTED], he immediately took off running from the scene. They both stated that they tried to help care for [REDACTED BY AGENCY] until until EMS arrived.

I then spoke with [WITNESS #1], who is Johnathan’s sister. She stated that she was outside in the backyard when she saw [REDACTED BY AGENCY] get shoved out of the camper. She stated that when she saw this, she went over there, and that is when she saw [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on the ground [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She stated that Jonathan came outside and told her that she was ok and was just [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She also stated that Johnathan had [REDACTED BY AGENCY] phone, and she told him to give it to her. She then told me that she saw Johnathan take off running along with another male that she had never seen before.

While I was on scene speaking with everybody there, the hospital called dispatch. They stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had red marks around her neck and told them that she had been sexually assaulted and choked.

I went to the hospital and spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She was visibly upset when I walked into the room and was scared of me. After speaking with her for a couple of minutes, she told me that a couple of days prior, Johnathan had raped her. She told me that it happened in the camper where they had been staying. She stated that she had a [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and did not want Johnathan to get it. Johnathan insisted on having sex, so he told her to use the safe word of Flame is she wanted him to stop. She stated that she said “Flame” twice, but Johnathan told her to “Shut the fu*k up” and kept doing what he was doing.

She then told me that earlier in the morning, before she had a possible [REDACTED BY AGENCY] he had physically hit her. She stated that while in the camper, she had her phone out and was recording, but Johnathan took the phone and turned it off. She stated that he then grabbed her and banged her head on the ground multiple times. She stated that he then hit her head on a wooden counter next to the couch, where she lost consciousness. She then stated that right before she lost consciousness, she began to be choked by Johnathan, and that is when she blacked out. She stated that when she woke up, she was outside on the ground and was told that she was [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me that both being raped and the physical assault took place inside the camper. She was also able to show me the video. In the video, you can see the second man sitting on the couch, but he did not say anything. You can also see Johnathan take the phone and turn it off. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if she wanted a SANE kit completed, and she told me that she did.

I then returned to the scene and assisted in searching for Johnathan. There were multiple drones used along with K9, but they had no success in finding Johnathan. Deputy Paz notified me that the name of the possible other suspect with Johnathan was [REDACTED], but they did not have any other information on him. There will be a picture of him attached to this report from the video that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had on her phone. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] phone will also be placed into evidence along with some drug paraphernalia that was taken from the scene for destruction.

The following warrants will be taken on Johnathan.

OCGA 16-5-21 Aggravated Assault Due to Johnathan Harper banging [REDACTED BY AGENCY] head on a wooden corner and choking her until she lost consciousness.

OCGA 16-5-23.1 Battery Family Violence Due to Johnathan Harper grabbing [REDACTED BY AGENCY] by her arms and throwing her around a camper and out the door of the camper, leaving multiple marks and bruising on her right arm.

The camper was taken to the Barrow County Detention Center to be processed at a later date. CID handled the search warrant.
