On August 23, 2026, at approximately 1729 hours, Officer Reece, Sgt. Page, and I responded to 111 Covered Bridge Road, Euharlee, GA 30145 (Osborne Park) due to a verbal dispute between people. Once on scene at the above listed address Officer Reece was speaking to the subjects. Sgt. Page and I tried gathering everyone’s information. When asked for identification Ms. Amy Michelle Crosby (identified by her name and date of birth) said she would have to look for her driver’s license.

Ms. Crosby the began digging in a black truck she was next to. As she opened the passenger side door I heard Officer Reece ask who all has been drinking because a can containing an alcoholic beverage fell out. After a couple minutes of digging around in the vehicle Ms. Crosby was asked to provide identification again. At this point in time Ms. Crosby became aggressive with Sgt. Page and started being argumentative with him and saying “I’ve never talked to you. You don’t know me you’ve never dealt with me” At this time Ms. Crosby walked to the back of the truck still not have given Sgt. Page her identification.

At this time, I was gathering information for the call (see Officer Reece initial narrative for details on original case not relating to Ms. Crosby’s arrest). While gathering information I observed Ms. Crosby giving Sgt. Page her name and date of birth. I then went back to my patrol vehicle. Once I exited the vehicle Sgt. Page approached me and said we were going to do field sobriety on Ms. Crosby due her behavior, the presence of alcohol, and her stating she had been in the driver seat of her vehicle a Gold Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo when she moved it from the lower parking lot to the upper parking lot.

Ms. Crosby was asked to stand in front of my patrol vehicle. I observed Ms. Crosby’s eyes to be glossy. Sgt. Page asked Ms. Crosby if the Jeep belonged to her and if she drove it and parked it where it was currently sitting. Ms. Crosby stated it was her car and she did drive and parked it at its current location. Ms. Crosby was asked how much alcohol she had consumed today and she stated, “not a lot”. Ms. Crosby was then asked what not a lot meant to her in her by her own definition. Ms. Crosby then stated that she wasn’t doing this with us and started going arguing that she hadn’t consumed a lot of alcohol.

Ms. Crosby was asked to have a seat on the push bumper of my patrol vehicle. Ms. Crosby was then asked a preliminary medical evaluation question asking if she had any problems with her eyes, neck or head that would prevent her from following a finger with her eyes and eyes only. Ms. Crosby stated that yeah she broke an ankle, a leg, and may be mentally incapable. Ms. Crosby was then asked if she wore contact lenses or glasses. At this time Ms. Crosby stated that she “wasn’t doing your sh*t” and saying she wasn’t going to do any test.

At this time Ms. Crosby was placed under arrest due to reasonable facts being that Ms. Crosby was under the influence of alcohol, and she had been behind the driver seat of her vehicle and had moved it from one location to another. It should be noted the location being a park with other vehicles and civilians commonly walking around that may have been harmed by Ms. Crosby’s actions. Ms. Crosby was placed into handcuffs which were double locked and checked for proper fit. Ms. Crosby was read implied consent for suspects ages 21 and over (green card). During the reading of implied consent Ms. Crosby was belligerent yelling at officers and wasn’t paying attention to what was being read. I then instructed for Ms. Crosby to listen to what was being read because she was going to have to answer a question at the end. Ms. Crosby stated for me to “shut up” and continued ignoring what was read. After implied consent was read Ms. Crosby was asked if she would provide a state administered chemical test of her blood to which Ms. Crosby stated, “I do”. Ms. Crosby was then placed into the rear seat of my patrol vehicle and seat belted in per agency policy and rear seat camera was activated.

I then sat in my patrol vehicle and looked at the flock condor camera that is positioned at the park. I then observed Ms. Crosby in her vehicle driving it from the lower parking lot to the upper lot. After telling Sgt. Page this I allowed the other participant in this incident to talk to Ms. Crosby and ask permission to move her vehicle while we waited for Officer Reece to bring me a blood test kit from the police department. Ms. Crosby was still being belligerent at this time yelling though the window towards me telling someone to punch me in my face. Ms. Crosby eventually gave consent for them to take her vehicle to their house.

At this time, I left to take Ms. Crosby to the Piedmont Cartersville Hospital to gather a blood sample. During the ride Ms. Crosby continued her belligerent behavior repeatedly yelling at me from the back seat. I attempted to turn on music in an attempt to calm Ms. Crosby down, which didn’t work. Ms. Crosby would call me a “fat fu*k” trying to get my reaction due to me ignoring her as I didn’t want to entertain her behavior. Ms. Crosby would constantly call me a “co*ksucker” and a little “bit*h” It should be noted that during the drive to the hospital Ms. Crosby was sweating profusely with the rear A/C on max setting. At approximately 1836 hours Ms. Crosby and I arrived at the Piedmont Cartersville Hospital. At this time Mr. Crosby denied agreeing to the blood test and was stating she refused to do it. At this time, I notified dispatch and left with Ms. Crosby to go to the Bartow County Jail.

At approximately 1844 hours, I arrived at the Bartow County Jail with Ms. Crosby. While attempting to complete the booking sheet for Ms. Crosby she was uncooperative, so it was completed to the best of my knowledge and finished by jail staff at a later time. As I was attempting to Ms. Crosby out of the vehicle she continued arguing with me refusing to exit the vehicle. Eventually Ms. Crosby exited and was escorted inside the jail by jail staff and I. During initial intake Ms. Crosby continued being belligerent and argumentative towards myself and jail staff refusing to comply with commands given to her and smarting off to members of the jail staff. While talking to the nurse who was getting her vitals Ms. Crosby stated that she had some vodka earlier that day. After being cleared by the jail nurse Ms. Crosby was escorted to a nearby cell by jail staff due to her uncooperative behavior. At this time, I had no further interactions with Ms. Crosby.

At 2020 hours, I went back to the Bartow County Jail to have Ms. Crosby sign an DDS 1205 ALS (Administrative License Suspension) form. I tried explaining to Ms. Crosby that due to her refusing to submit to a state-administered blood sample she was going to lose her license and the yellow sheet copy of this form was going to act as her temporary license until her ALS court date. Ms. Crosby began being argumentative with me refusing to let me explain the sheet and refused to sign it. A refusal was signed where her signature goes and a copy was placed into her property bag for when she got out of jail. I then left the jail at this time.

All times are approximate.
