On Friday, April 17, 2026, at approximately 1255 hours, I was dispatched to [10 BLOCK] Ohio St in reference to a citizen assist. The caller reported she was being harassed and claimed her boyfriend was telling her what she could and could not eat.
Upon arrival, I spoke with Ms. Ashlee Myhand regarding the incident. Ms. Myhand stated that her boyfriend was being mean to her and was only allowing her to eat certain foods. I then spoke with witness who stated that he had purchased groceries both yesterday and today, all of which were located on the kitchen table and in the refrigerator.
It was determined at this time to place Ms. Myhand under arrest, as her allegations were found to be false and did not constitute a valid reason to contact 911. Ms. Myhand has contacted Bartow County 911 fourteen times this year regarding similar complaints about her boyfriend, including not feeding her, “being mean”, and various other non-criminal matters. Each of these incidents has been investigated and found to be unfounded. Ms. Myhand had previously been warned on multiple occasions that continued misuse of emergency services would result in her being taken into custody.
Ms. Myhand’s belongings were gathered, and she was escorted to my marked department-issued patrol vehicle. She was searched incident to arrest, yielding negative results for weapons or contraband, and was then placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle. Ms. Myhand was transported to 104 Zena Dr (BCSO) and turned over to the deputy on scene without incident. The rear of my patrol vehicle was searched both before and after transport, yielding negative results for weapons or contraband.
Warrants were obtained for Unlawful Conduct during 911 calls or otherwise contacts 911 and makes a false report.
