On March 8, 2026 at 1251 hours, I was dispatched to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office lobby in reference to a domestic report.
Upon my arrival, I spoke with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that she and her boyfriend, Brian Huth, had gotten into an argument earlier that morning after Brian went to retrieve property from a shared residence. [VICTIM #1] stated that when Brian returned, he began calling her names and yelling in the driveway.
[VICTIM #1] stated Brian was already irritated due to her giving him “attitude” for not going earlier to retrieve his property. [VICTIM #1] stated that when she told Brian she could not be with him anymore because of how mean he had become, Brian became angry. [VICTIM #1] stated Brian broke a black plastic shelf out of anger and began throwing property from the car. [VICTIM #1] stated she then told Brian he needed to leave the property.
[VICTIM #1] stated Brian then turned around and punched the hood of her 2014 Jeep Patriot, causing a dent near the passenger side of the hood.
I then made contact with Brian Huth at [40 BLOCK] Cotton Bend, Cartersville, GA 30120. Brian stated he had broken the shelf and punched [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle out of anger and knew it was the wrong thing to do.
[VICTIM #1] stated she did not want Brian to go to jail and only wanted the incident documented. I explained to both parties the requirements of Georgia’s Family Violence Act and the actions that would have to be taken.
Brian was then placed in handcuffs to the rear, double locked, and checked for fit and safety. Brian’s person was searched for weapons or illegal substances.
Brian was transported to the Bartow County Jail. An arrest warrant was taken for Criminal Trespass – Damage to Property (FVA) due to Brian breaking the shelf and denting the hood of [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle.
[VICTIM #1] was sent a CoreForce link to upload photographs of the damaged shelf and the dent to her vehicle. [VICTIM #1] was provided with a case card and given domestic violence resources.
