On August 08, 2026 (Saturday) I was dispatched to [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic report.

Initially the complainant / [VICTIM #1] advised he left the incident location to get away from his mother / suspect / Brittanie Bailey. He further advised Brittanie had left and was at the Speedway off N Tennessee Street.

I was able to locate Brittanie at Speedway and escorted her back to the incident location at [REDACTED].

Once on scene I had [VICTIM #1] come back to the residence as well so that I could speak to all parties involved.

While waiting for [VICTIM #1] to arrive I spoke with Brittanie about what took place. According to her she got kicked out of her boyfriends residence and was staying with [VICTIM #1] until she could find somewhere to live.

She stated earlier today [VICTIM #1] came down stairs and the two began to argue about bills and [VICTIM #1] needing to borrow the car to go to town. She stated they argued and she walked outside for few minutes and came back inside and once inside she and her other child / [REDACTED BY AGENCY] began arguing. She advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] got into her face and then all the sudden [VICTIM #1] got into her face and threaten to “break her jaw” if she doesn’t stop talking to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] like that and pinned her against the wall by her throat using his forearm.

She stated once [VICTIM #1] started being aggressive she pulled out her pepper spray and did not directly spray anyone but just sprayed it in the air so that [VICTIM #1] would get away from her.

Brittanie advised at some point she walked outside to get away from them. When she tried to go back into the residence to get her cat, [VICTIM #1] had locked the door so she had to reach in through the already broken window and unlock the door. She stated when she reached in [VICTIM #1] grabbed her had and then ended up punching in the face. She advised once that happen she got in her car and left.

At this time I spoke with [VICTIM #1], who stated earlier today he walked down stairs and saw that Brittanie’s boyfriend was there. He advised this frustrated him because this is his house and he already told Brittanie she did not want him over there. [VICTIM #1] advised he did not say anything and just let it go. He then stated he asked Brittanie to borrow her car because it’s the only running vehicle and he had some stuff in town that he needed to get done, and for some reason they began to argue about bills and stuff.

[VICTIM #1] stated he stepped outside to calm down and while outside he heard Brittanie yelling at someone. He stated when he walked into the residence he observed Brittanie have a hold of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] by the throat. He stated he then stepped between them and pushed Brittanie away. He stated once this happen Brittanie pulled out a small pepper spray container and began spraying both of them.

At that time all parties separated and [VICTIM #1] advised he went to his neighbors residence to ask for some milk to “DECON” himself and his brother. He stated at some point Brittanie walked outside of the residence, so in order to keep her from attacking anyone else he locked the door.

Shortly after locking the door he heard Brittanie knocking on the back door. He stated she then came around to the front door and knocked the window out of the door and began trying to reach in and unlock the door. [VICTIM #1] stated in order to stop her from coming in the house he went over to the door and began holding it shut.

As he was holding the door shut Brittanie began “clawing” the side of his face / head. He stated as he held his left arm up to prevent her from attacking him she some how bit him through the window. [VICTIM #1] stated once this happen the only thing he could think to do to get her to stop was to punch her so he struck Brittanie one time in the face.

Once he struck Brittanie she got in her car and left the area. [VICTIM #1] stated they gave it a little bit to make sure she was gone and then they left to their sister’s house to call 9-1-1, because neither of their phones work.

I also spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who advised he heard the initial arguing between [VICTIM #1] and Brittanie while he was upstairs. He then went downstairs to see what was going on and [VICTIM #1] had already walked outside. He advised Brittanie immediately began on him for some reason and got into his face so he started yelling back at her. He stated as he started talking back is when Brittanie grabbed him by the throat and then [VICTIM #1] walked in and separated them.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] went on to describe the same sequence of events that [VICTIM #1] did after this.

While talking to all parties I observed the following injuries.

[VICTIM #1] had scratches all over his neck and forehead area. The left side of his face was also red and slightly puffy from where the pepper spray got onto his skin.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] neck was red and he had a small laceration on the right side of his throat. His forehead was red and “splotchy” from where the pepper spray got onto his skin.

Brittanie had a bruise on her right wrist / hand area.

At this time based on all parties testimony and the visible injuries I observed on all parties it was determined that Brittanie was the aggressor in the incident.

Brittanie was placed under arrest and transported to The Bartow County Detention Center without incident.

There was an additional subject / [REDACTED] on scene during the entire incident, however she was upstairs and did not witness any of the physical altercation.

As far as Brittanie’s boyfriend he was not on scene during my investigation and no one knows where he went or how to get a hold him. [VICTIM #1] only knew him as [REDACTED].
