[NARRATIVE #1 on September 05, 2026]
On September 5, 2026 at approximately 0118 hours, I Officer B. Nesbitt with the Adairsville Police Department Uniform Patrol Division responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in Adairsville, Bartow County, Georgia in reference to a domestic in progress.
Upon arrival on scene, I met with complainant [VICTIM #1] and suspect Kareem Emerson. I could see a broken window screen, empty bottle of Hennessy whiskey and broken blind’s. [VICTIM #1] stated Kareem was her fiance and that he had been drinking heavily and began being belligerent so she locked him out of the apartment. [VICTIM #1] stated Kareem then began beating on the door and yelling to let him in in which he refused. [VICTIM #1] stated Kareem then pulled the window screen off the window and threw it to the ground then pulled the window up and began climbing through the window and fell through the blinds causing them to fall apart. Kareem was very belligerent and appeared to be very intoxicated due to his slurring of his words, unstable balance and belligerent behavior. [VICTIM #1] stated Kareem had woke up their little girl Juvenile 1 during the incident and was cussing non stop. Kareem was also yelling and cussing non stop while I was on scene even after he was ordered to stop several times.
I then placed Kareem in handcuff’s and secured him in the rear seat of my vehicle. Kareem was then transported to the Bartow County Jail where the jail staff refused to take custody of him due to his behavior and complaint’s of chest pain that suddenly occurred when we arrived at the jail. Kareem was then transported by Metro EMS.
Arrest warrant’s were issued for Kareem.
On September 5, 2026, Kareem was located at Hwy 41 and Cherry St and placed into custody. He was transported to the Bartow Co Jail where he was again refused by jail staff. I transported Kareem to Piedmont Cartersville Hospital where he was examined by ER Personnel and cleared for intake. Kareem was transported back to the Bartow Co Jail where he was released to jail personnel without further issue.

On September 5, 2026 at approximately 1800 hours, I Officer B.Nesbitt #012 with the Adairsville Police Department responded to Adairsville Super Market in reference to another officer locating Kareem Emerson who had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
I arrived on scene and took Kareem into custody and transported him to the Bartow County Jail in which they refused to take custody of Kareem due to the medical staff not attempting to take Kareem’s vital’s. I then had to take Kareem to Cartersville Piedmont Hospital in which they cleared Kareem and he was transported back to Bartow County Jail and custody was eventually relinquished to jail staff.
