On Sunday, March 16th, 2025, at approximately 1029 hours, I was dispatched to 5363 Allatoona Gateway, Acworth, Ga 30102, at the Baymont for an assault in progress.
Upon arrival at the scene, I met with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated she was conversing with [VICTIM #2] in Room [REDACTED] of the Baymont Inn when Kelsey Henderson approached the door and knocked. Upon opening the door, Kelsey forcibly entered the room and aggressively advanced toward [VICTIM #1].
[VICTIM #1] reported that Kelsey was holding a black metal rod, which she swung forcibly in her direction. [VICTIM #2] intervened by stepping between the two in an attempt to protect [VICTIM #1]. As a result, [VICTIM #2] was struck on the right side of his head by the rod, causing a laceration and bleeding.
[WITNESS #1], who witnessed the incident nearby, corroborated the sequence of events. She confirmed that Kelsey appeared enraged and made verbal threats toward [VICTIM #1] prior to the physical assault.
[VICTIM #1] further stated that Kelsey left the scene following the confrontation. Based on [VICTIM #1]’s account and the corroborating witness statement, warrants were later issued for Kelsey Henderson for aggravated assault and battery, due to threatening the use of a deadly weapon against [VICTIM #1] and striking [VICTIM #2] with the object.
Fire cleaned up [VICTIM #2]’s wound on scene, they suggested for him to go the hospital but he declined.
