On April 25, 2026, at 1253 hours, I was dispatched to [REDACTED], in reference to a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, I made contact with Nyasiah Chisholm in the parking lot. Nyasiah was holding her juvenile daughter, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Nyasiah told me that her ex-boyfriend and the father of [REDACTED BY AGENCY], Ladarrius Ware was angry with her this morning because she had male company at the apartment the previous night.

Nyasiah said she and Ladarrius were arguing and she went into the master bedroom with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and locked the bedroom door. She went onto say that Ladarrius opened the door by manipulating the door latch mechanism with a butter knife. She said Ladarrius entered the room and was throwing water at her while she was lying on the floor. Ladarrius then picked up her phone, phone charger and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and went into the adjoining bathroom. Nyasiah said she reached into the bathroom to get the phone and Ladarrius grabbed her by the throat and pushed her into the bathroom vanity. Nyasiah said he was holding [REDACTED BY AGENCY] while this happened. She said she started crying and he let go. Nyasiah said Ladarrius gave her the phone back and left the residence, leaving [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with her.

I asked Nyasiah if he grabbed her throat and choked her or if he grabbed her neck and moved pushed her. She said he grabbed her throat and choked her and she couldn’t breath. I asked how long he grabbed her throat in that manner and she said about five seconds. I asked her which hand he used and she said the left. I looked at her neck and observed a light scratch near the middle of her right collar bone. The scratch was faint and a couple of inches long. I didn’t notice any other marks on her neck that corroborated her allegations of Ladarrius strangling her. Also, the angle of the mark and the direction it went from her collar bone towards her back in conjunction with the distance of the mark from her trachea leads me to believe Ladarrius used his left hand to grab the side of her neck and push her into the bathroom vanity as she attempted to retrieve the cell phone and charger.

I also observed items on the bathroom vanity that were knocked over and in disarray. I returned to the master bedroom and observed a butter knife on the floor as well as fresh marks on the door frame and door that were consistent with the rounded end of the butter knife.

I provided Nyasiah with a case number as well as information related obtaining a temporary protection order. Nyasiah and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] departed the residence to stay with her mother. I later ran a local check of Nyasiah and saw that she had been arrested on April 13, 2026, for Criminal Trespass under the Family Violence Act. Upon further investigation, I learned that Ladarrius was the victim in the case. On April 14, 2026, a family violence order was issued by Judge Gunn of the Bartow County Magistrate Court ordering Nyasiah to have no contact with Ladarrius.

I applied for and obtained an arrest warrant for Ladarrius for Battery (FVA) and Cruelty to Children 3rd Degree (FVA). I also applied for and obtained an arrest warrant for Nyasiah for Violation of a Family Violence Order.

Through further investigation I learned that Ladarrius is currently driving a 2013, black, Kia Optima, Temporary tag# [REDACTED] (During my interview with Nyasiah, she stated the car had no tag).
