On Wednesday November 13, 2024 at 2200 hours I was dispatched to handle a call by phone in reference to a Stolen tag report. The call was from Marietta Police Department.

I spoke with Officer Lusfor (Badge Number 3643), who stated on November 10th, 2024 she conducted a traffic stop on the listed vehicle for an invalid registration. Officer Lusfor stated she seized the tag, and informed the register owner, Ms. Nneka Tre Shon Harrison, on how to obtain a valid registration, and issued her a citation.

That case number is 2024-0015303 through Marietta Police Department.

Officer Lusfor stated today she was typing up her incident report from that day, and when she ran the license plate it returned as a stolen license plate through Bartow. She stated it was reported stolen on the twelfth, two days after she seized the Registered Owners tag.

I observed the report made on the twelfth of this month and Ms. Harrison informed Sgt. Wilson at the Sheriff’s Office she never received her license plate in the mail from the dealership, and needed to have a report completed to receive a new one.

Because of this, her license plate was entered on GCIC as stolen. That Case Number through Bartow is 2024-00031819.

Due to Officer Lusfor informing me she issued a citation on the listed vehicle, and it was also reported stolen I ran the vehicle on GCIC to confirm the statements made. The vehicle did return with an invalid Registration, and it also returned as a stolen license plate.

I contacted our dispatch to have the license plate removed off GCIC as stolen.

A warrant was secured for Nneka Harrison for false report of a crime. The offense of Replacement of Lost or Stolen Tag [REDACTED] did not occur.
