On Monday June 6, 2022 at 0753 hours I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Willis Rd Cartersville, GA 30120 in reference to a domestic dispute.

On arrival I made contact with victim [VICTIM #1] who stated her Husband Victor Watson had stabbed her on her right side torso. She stated the incident occurred right before she dialed 911. She said she was at the neighbors house earlier in the morning for a cool off period due to them arguing the night before.

She stated when she returned to her residence this morning she was outside when her dog barked and Victor came outside. She and Victor engaged in a verbal altercation and then he grabbed a screwdriver and attempted to stab her leaving two cuts on her right side torso.

After, Victor tossed the screwdriver he went behind [VICTIM #1] and tossed her to the ground resulting on her falling on her knees and ripped her white gold necklace in the process of throwing her.

I observed two fresh cuts on [VICTIM #1]’s right side torso and bruises on her knee caps. She also had a bloody nose from her falling to the ground. Her white gold necklace ripped in two pieces from where Victor grabbed it. I spoke to Victor who stated he did not touch [VICTIM #1] nor did he damage her property.

He stated he was outside the residence working on a part from his vehicle and [VICTIM #1] approached him and was being verbal. Victor also, informed she broke and damaged his bedroom door and threw a phone battery pack at him. I observed the door and could not tell if it was recent or not and the injury on his leg did not look from an object being thrown.

He informed me her attitude changed when she started seeing a new doctor and the medication makes her “crazy”. He stated she ripped off her necklace before she dialed 911 and told him “this will not end until you go to jail”. After speaking to both parties I determined Victor’s testimony was inconsistent and [VICTIM #1]’s testimony did not change.

I placed Victor under arrest and checked handcuffs for fit and I double locked for security. I secured arrest warrants on Victor for aggravating assault for grabbing a screwdriver in an offensive manner and making two cuts on [VICTIM #1]. Battery (FVA) for throwing her to the ground causing her to fall on her knees and leaving visible bodily injury.

Criminal damage to property second degree for damaging and breaking her white gold necklace having a value of $1,000.00 Dollars. I took photos on my body worn camera of [VICTIM #1]’s injuries and her necklace. I, also took photos of the damaged bedroom door.
