On May 5, 2026, at approximately 1645 hours, I was dispatched to [1500 BLOCK] Westminster Dr., in reference to a Person Shot.
Upon arrival, Sergeant Jones and I were met by a shirtless black male (Identified as Anthony Allen) who was sweating, hysterical, and had blood on his hands and pants. Allen was holding his cell phone that still had an active 911 call in progress. Sgt. Jones went to attend to the female (Identified as [VICTIM #1]) victim who had a gunshot wound, while I remained with Allen.
Allen stated that he and his girlfriend had been “tussling” and they had been going through it. He stated [VICTIM #1] got shot while he was attempting to get the firearm away from her. He stated he had the gun in his hand and kept telling her bae chill. He stated that anytime they argue, the firearm is normally left on the counter, but they usually don’t reach for it. He stated they had been arguing for the past couple of days. He stated he had received a weird message on Facebook that said, “Dead or in jail”.
I asked Allen if there had been any drug or alcohol usage. He stated that they only smoked weed. He stated the firearm was a black Taurus 9mm handgun and that it was in the living room. Allen was detained and placed in the back of the patrol car.
Macon-Bibb Fire Department and Community Ambulance arrived on scene. Persons Investigator Lieutenant Bridger and Sergeant Moss arrived on scene. Captain Rutherford and Lieutenant Dover also arrived on scene. The scene was turned over to investigators.
