[NARRATIVE #2 on February 01, 2025]

On Saturday, February 01, 2025 at approximately 1344 hours. I Sgt. D. Inzar responded to Freedom Park in reference to a terroristic threat and aggravated assault incident that took place at [100 BLOCK] Comer Terrace.

Upon my arrival on scene. I made contact with [VICTIM #2] and her mother [VICTIM #3].

[VICTIM #2] states. She was advised by her mother that she gave Anthony Hewitt approximately $5000 to hold for her. The subject has since refused to return the money. They made contact with the subject at his home located at [100 BLOCK] Comer Terrace and asked for the money.

The subject then pulled a long gun which is described as a rifle and pointed it at them while stating “I will kill you and your mama”. The complainants advised they left the scene and called law enforcement due to the being scared of the subject. They also state. The subject has multiple guns and sells drugs out of the home.

I did check the subjects information in NCIC. He does have valid warrants out of Bibb County reference terroristic threats and aggravated assault (2025-4036). I did make contact near his mothers home at [100 BLOCK] Green St.

The subject approached me while stating “I’m the one you are looking for”. He began to state that Ms. [VICTIM #3] arrived at his home several days ago and brought her son and several other male subjects to his home to assault him over $250 that she owed to him.

I informed him of the valid warrants and he was detained with mechanical restraints. Mr. Hewitt also stated. He was in his yard prior to their arrival. He was shooting at squirrels with a pellet gun. The women arrived and began yelling and cursing at him about the money.

Mr. Hewitt advised that he never threatened to kill anyone, however. He did state “I will beat you and your mom’s a*s” due to the mother bringing several males to his home to fight him. He denied pointing the rifle at them. He stated the rifle was already in his hands due to him shooting squirrels prior to their arrival.

Mr. Hewitt further states that [VICTIM #3] is a smoker. She came over several days ago with a large amount of money. She bought drugs and drinks all night and was just giving away $50 bills to everyone in site. He states that she “tricked off her money” and is now mad because she is broke.

Mr. Hewitt gave me verbal permission to enter his home and retrieve the rifle. He did state. The rifle was inside of his room on the left side as soon as you walk in. I did locate the rifle and it was a pellet gun with a scope attached. I secured the rifle in my patrol vehicle.

The subject Anthony Hewitt was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center on his warrants. I provided the complainants with a victim pamphlet in reference to this incident, however. I do not find sufficient probable cause at this time for additional charges.
