On 11/18/2025, at approximately 2100 hours, Dep. Tre. Lewis responded to [2500 BLOCK] Jeffersonville Road, Latanya Village Apartments, in reference to a possible shots fired incident.
Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1], who advised that he was inside the kitchen of his apartment eating with his five children when he heard multiple gunshots coming from outside. [VICTIM #1] stated that earlier in the day there had been an altercation involving several neighbors and an unknown male who does not reside in the area. [VICTIM #1] advised he did not have any identifying information regarding the individuals involved.
[VICTIM #1] further stated that one round appeared to have entered or grazed his apartment unit beneath the front living room window. While checking the immediate area, I located one AR-style rifle shell casing. The shell casing was collected, secured, and later transported to the Bibb County Crime Lab for analysis.
I also made contact with [VICTIM #2], who resides in Apartment [REDACTED]. [VICTIM #2] stated that a black male known to her as “Zay” knocked on her door. When she opened the door, the male pointed a firearm at her. [VICTIM #2] advised the male did not say anything and then left the area.
Additionally, I made contact with [REDACTED], the property manager, who stated that the incident was captured on the property surveillance system.
The Gang Unit investigators were notified, and this report was forwarded to the assigned investigator for follow-up.
