On 06/12/2026 at approximately 0901 hours, I responded to CVS Pharmacy, 1615 Forest Hill Rd., in reference to a shoplifting incident.

Upon arrival, I spoke with store manager [WITNESS #1], who advised that an unknown Black male entered the business at approximately 0901 hours and immediately proceeded to the laundry detergent aisle. Surveillance footage showed the suspect selecting multiple laundry detergent products before exiting the store without paying.

The suspect was described as a Black male, approximately 5’9″ tall, in his mid-30s, with a slim build, wearing a gray and black shirt and a black baseball cap.

The suspect stole the following merchandise:

  • Two (2) Gain Liquid Detergents, 132 oz. — valued at $20.99 each ($41.98 total)
  • Two (2) Tide Power Pods/Oxi, 25 count — valued at $17.49 each ($34.98 total)

The total loss was approximately $76.96 before tax.

[WITNESS #1] advised the suspect exited the store at approximately 0903 hours and entered a running U-Haul box truck, estimated to be 16–24 feet in length, which had been left running in the parking lot. The suspect then fled the area, making a right turn onto Forest Hill Road toward Hall Road.

The suspect’s identity is currently unknown. Surveillance footage was reviewed and is available. No further suspect information was available at the time of this report. Investigation continues.
