On April 24th, 2026 at approximately 1200 hrs. I, Dep. Ownby, while working the front desk of the Sheriff’s Office Annex, was approached by the complainant, [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that a male friend of her’s, Corey Turner, had stayed with her for few weeks in August of 2025. [VICTIM #1] told him he had to move out after he called her on the phone and stated “I don’t know if I was dreaming but I saw [REDACTED BY AGENCY] standing near the dryer with some shorts on.” [REDACTED BY AGENCY] is [VICTIM #1]’s daughter and was 15 at the time of the comments. Her daughter also told her that Mr. Turner called [REDACTED BY AGENCY] out on the porch while he was smoking one day and told her “you know I’m a man you can’t be walking around the house with shorts on.” After hearing this [VICTIM #1] asked Mr. Turner to leave and told him it’s just not working out.
Around this same time the manager of the complex asked [VICTIM #1] to come look at something. The manager showed [VICTIM #1] a video that was of Mr. Turner mast*rbating on the porch and asked her to identify him to which [VICTIM #1] told her that it’s Corey Turner. Mr. Turner was banned from the complex and left in the following days.
Since being banned from the complex Mr. Turner has continually text [VICTIM #1] in addition to showing up at her place of work and coming to her apartment multiple times a week. [VICTIM #1] is to the point that she fears for her safety and the safety of her children, especially her daughter who is now 16. [VICTIM #1] also stated that Mr. Turner is texting her daughter and son as well who are both 16.
[VICTIM #1] stated she has screen shots of the texts he’s sent and has photos of him at her work and her apartment. A community request link was sent through evidence.com for [VICTIM #1] to upload the evidence.
[VICTIM #1] provided a written statement which will be turned into Central Records to be added to this report.
Warrant will be taken out for Mr. Turner for the charge of Stalking.
Complainant was given case card.
