On Wednesday January 15th 2025 at 0836 hours I (Corporal A. Walker #2329) responded to [1100 BLOCK] Hartridge Drive Macon Georgia 31204 in reference to a domestic. Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant identified as [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that while she was asleep last night she was awaken by the baby crying and when she looked out the door her car was gone. [VICTIM #1] stated that she started calling her daughter who was identified as Cornetta Blount so she can bring her car back.
[VICTIM #1] stated that when Blount got home she was drunk and when she asked for her car keys Blount stated that she did not know where they were. [VICTIM #1] stated that she called 911 to have a deputy enroute but when the deputy arrived she had found her keys. [VICTIM #1] then stated that this morning she was on her way to school but discovered her driver side finder damaged. [VICTIM #1] stated that she called 911 again in reference to the damage to her car.
While [VICTIM #1] was gathering her items Blount was throwing things and cussing at [VICTIM #1] calling her a bit*h and a h*e several times. I advised Blount several times to go back inside while [VICTIM #1] gathered her belongings and leave. Blount continued screaming and yelling at [VICTIM #1] and I advised both parties to calm down or someone will be going to jail. Blount then stated that she did not give a fu*k and continued to scream and cuss repeatedly.
I advised Blount again to go inside and she refused, again stating that she did not give a fu*k about going to jail. Blount then stated that [VICTIM #1] was not going to claim her kids on her taxes and leave with the money. Blount then reached inside of [VICTIM #1]’s purse and grabbed her wallet and took out a debit card and put it in her pocket. At this point [VICTIM #1] walked toward Blount. I stepped in between them trying to get the debit card out of Blount’s pocket. I reached for her pocket and she snatched away from me and a brief scuffle ensued. Blount was then placed under arrest, the handcuffs were checked for fit and double locked before placing her in the backseat of my marked patrol vehicle.
Blount was transported without incident to the Bibb County LEC where she was turned over to the jail staff for booking.
Warrants to be taken.
