On September 9, 2026, at 1604 hours, Deputy Mattox and I, Deputy N. Holmes, were dispatched to [700 BLOCK] Baconsfield Drive, Building 2, Apartment [REDACTED], in reference to a criminal trespass.

Upon arrival, I spoke with the property manager, [REDACTED], who stated that someone from her maintenance team called her and advised her that there appeared to be a domestic dispute because the maintenance team could hear screaming coming from Apartment [REDACTED]. Ms. [REDACTED] stated that this has been an ongoing issue. Ms. [REDACTED] stated that the resident’s owner, [REDACTED], has been told that she is being evicted and has been allowing her boyfriend, Donterrius Turner, to come in and out of the residence. Ms. [REDACTED] stated that Mr. Turner does not reside at the apartment and is not on the lease.

On September 2, 2026, Mr. Turner was removed from the property by Sergeant Endsley and was told not to return to the property. Mr. Turner had returned to the property when Ms. [REDACTED] notified the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. When Deputy Mattox and I arrived at apartment [REDACTED], Mr. Turner answered the door and advised Deputy Mattox and me that his girlfriend had just left and drew the conclusion that she had called.

We advised Mr. Turner that Ms. [REDACTED] was not the one who called, and the property manager called and wanted him to leave the property due to him being trespassed from the property on September 2, 2026. Mr. Turner started gathering his belongings after being told that he had to leave the property. Deputy Mattox and I walked into the residence and made sure Mr. Turner was gathering his belongings. Mr. Turner was upset that we were standing inside the apartment and became belligerent. Mr. Turner stated to us multiple times, “y’all get out of her apartment,” in an aggressive tone.

Once, Mr. Turner set all of his belongings in the hallway outside of the apartment; he stated, “I’m not going now until my ride gets here. Deputy Mattox advised Mr. Turner that he had to leave the property and that he could wait outside. Mr. Turner still refused to leave and asked for a supervisor. Deputy Mattox contacted Lieutenant Inzar and advised him of the issue. Mr. Turner then started yelling and screaming into Deputy Mattox’s cellphone as she was speaking with Lieutenant Inzar.

After speaking with Lieutenant Inzar, Deputy Mattox and I attempted to place Mr. Turner in handcuffs, and he jumped over the balcony, fleeing on foot, causing a foot pursuit. Mr. Turner fled outside of the apartment, jumped over a fence, and ran through the parking lot of Biomat Plaza Center, located at 630 North Avenue. Mr. Turner was located behind Biomat Plaza and placed in handcuffs by Deputy Sorrow.

While in Deputy Sorrow’s marked patrol vehicle, Mr. Turner hit his head against the window, causing a small abrasion to his forehead. Mr. Turner was checked out by EMS and transported to the Bibb Lec and charged with criminal trespass and two counts of obstruction.
