On June 19, 2026, at approximately 0742 hours, I Deputy Jammie Ricci, was dispatched to [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic.
Upon my arrival Sergeant Collis, gave a description over the radio of a black male wearing black shorts and a hoodie walking away from the incident scene. Cpl. Saidi and I observed the male around the apartment complex. Cpl. Saidi and I stopped the black male who was identified as Mr. Javon Williams DOB:[REDACTED BY AGENCY], who was then detained and placed into double locked handcuffs. He stated he left the scene to cool off, and his sister told him to leave. Mr. Williams had a black book bag on his person when we detained him. Mr. Williams stated he got into a verbal altercation with his girlfriend [VICTIM #1] over late rent and money. While being detained Mr. Williams freely stated, “he did not mean to punch her hard, he also stated he did not mean for the situation to get out of hand.
Sergeant Collis arrived and directed us to return Mr. Williams to the scene. Once back in front of the apartments, I observed Miss. [VICTIM #1] with fresh blood coming from her bottom lip. Miss. [VICTIM #1] stated she does not recall what the argument was about but does remember Mr. Williams punching her in the face with a closed fist and striking her bottom lip. Miss. [VICTIM #1] stated she has lived with Mr. Williams for six months and has two kids with him. Miss. [VICTIM #1] stated her seven-month-old son, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], was in the room when Mr. Williams punched her in the face. Miss. [VICTIM #1] declined EMS and was given a case card.
Once obtaining this information Sgt. Collis and Cpl. Saidi did a search for the black book bag and located a black Glock 21 serial number: MUV369 which was run through GCIC and came back clean. Inside the bookbag was eight clear individually wrapped green leafy substances, suspected to be marijuana, multiple clear baggies, one scale, two black gloves, two ski masks, and one black bandanna were found.
I read Miranda to Mr. Williams in which he declined to speak. Mr. Williams was placed under arrest placed in double locked handcuffs and placed in the back of the patrol car, and escorted to the Bibb County LEC. Warrants for battery family violence, cruelty to children 3rd degree, and possession with the intent to distribute.
The gun, scale, and suspected marijuana was turned into the crime labe.
