On Thursday, 7-30-26 at 0730 hours, I (Sgt. Bruce) received a call to report to [2300 BLOCK] Crissey Dr. Apt. [REDACTED] in reference to stalking.

I spoke to Ms. [VICTIM #1], who stated that she has a TPO on her ex-boyfriend, Jerome Hill, but he called her from his personal cell number [REDACTED BY AGENCY] yesterday about 0959 hours. I observed the number in Ms. [VICTIM #1]’ phone. Ms. [VICTIM #1] produced a TPO signed by Twiggs Co. Judge William Taylor on May 6th 2026, and it was served the same day. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she is afraid that Mr. Hill is going to harm her. I will be signing a warrant for Mr. Hill for Aggravated Stalking.

DEFENSE FILES MOTION FOR BOND IN BIBB COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT

What this means: Attorney Brinson Raley of Hogue Griffin filed a Motion for Bond on behalf of Jerome Quantez Hill in the Bibb County Superior Court under case number 2026-MCR-007386. Because aggravated stalking is a charge that can only be bonded by a Superior Court judge, the defense was required to petition that court directly under O.C.G.A. § 17-6-1(d). The motion argued that Hill poses no significant flight risk, no danger to the community, no threat of committing another felony while awaiting trial, and no risk of intimidating witnesses or obstructing justice. The motion asked the court to set a bond in a reasonable amount. The filing was served on Assistant District Attorney Sherita Peeler of the Macon Judicial Circuit.

JUDGE GRANTS BOND FOR JEROME QUANTEZ HILL — $10,000 WITH CONDITIONS

What this means: Bibb County Superior Court Judge Howard Simms granted Jerome Quantez Hill a bond of $10,000, to be posted with surety — meaning a bail bondsman or another party must guarantee the full amount to the Sheriff of Bibb County. The bond comes with specific conditions Hill must follow while out of custody. First, Hill must be equipped with an ankle monitor so his location can be tracked at all times. Second, Hill is ordered to have no contact with the victim. Third, Hill must comply with all other standard bond conditions set by the court. If Hill violates any of these conditions, the bond can be revoked and he can be returned to custody.
