On 21 March 2026 at 14:14, I, Deputy Le Godais #2640, was dispatched a call concerning an 11-month-old black female who had been transported from Navicent Children’s Hospital to a Children’s Hospital in Atlanta. I spoke with a Nurse [REDACTED] concerning this child and was advised the child was transferred to this hospital on 20 March 2026, but she believes the child originally arrived to Navicent on 19 March 2026. Investigator Medina has been in contact with both locations and is aware of this report being made.
When I spoke with Nurse [REDACTED], she advised me of the injuries that have been diagnosed as of today, and the child has the following 4 injuries listed: Anoxic brain injury, brain bleed, ligament injury to neck, and extensive retinal hemorrhages.
I will defer to Investigator Medina on how to proceed with this case.
