On 05/08/2026, I, Sergeant Grube responded to 2487 Rocky Creek Road (Melody’s) in reference to an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] advised that he was robbed at gun point by two black males. [VICTIM #1] advised that he came out of the store and was near pump one, when J5 and another black male drew down on him. [VICTIM #1] advised that he complied due to being outnumbered and out gunned. [VICTIM #1] advised that J5 was armed with an AK (Draco). [VICTIM #1] advised that J5 took $300 from him. [VICTIM #1] advised that they did fight over the firearm but he was not able to get it away from J5. [VICTIM #1] advised that the other suspect picked up J5 at the Bethesda Avenue entrance. [VICTIM #1] advised that J5 discharged his firearm twice near the roadway. [VICTIM #1] advised that J5 was not shooting towards him.
I made contact with the clerk, who advised that they do not have access to the surveillance. Clerk advised that owner/manager would have to access the system when they come in.
Sgt. Munguia of Persons Investigations was notified.
I searched the area indicated by [VICTIM #1], but did not find any shell casings.
