On 6/14/2026 I, Dep Benton, responded to a fight or possible domestic dispute at [1500 BLOCK] Hurley Circle. When I arrived I observed an older male, [VICTIM #1], with a bloody nose and face.
There was a significant language barrier between myself and the individuals at the residence. One female was able to somewhat explain that Mr. Kevin Turjillo Lopez had been fighting with Mr. [VICTIM #1].
Mr. Turjillo Lopez was arrested based on the visible injuries of Mr. [VICTIM #1] and transported to the Bibb County LEC.
After arresting Mr. Turjillo Lopez his mother, Ms. Martha Lopez Lemus, began approaching deputies on the scene who were placing Mr. Lopez in my vehicle. Ms. Lopez Lemus was continually told to get back and remain in the front of the residence. Ms. Lopez Lemus still continued to approach in an attempt to interfere with the arrest and investigation and was finally taken into custody as a result of her conduct.
Ms. Lopez Lemus was displaying signs of being highly intoxicated during the incident.
Ms. Lopez Lemus was transported to the Bibb County LEC and charged with Disorderly Conduct.
