On July 21, 2026 I, Deputy Keen was dispatched to 543 Cherry St(The Rookery) in reference to trespass. Upon my arrival I made contact with the victim, The Manager [VICTIM #1] and questioned him about the incident
Mr. [VICTIM #1] informed me on the above date between 0915 to 0945 hours, a black male wearing an orange shirt in a wheelchair urinated on the wall in the alley next to the place of business. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated when he confronted the male, he tried to sling urine on him while he was urinating. Mr. [VICTIM #1] point out the male in the wheelchair, who was outside at [500 BLOCK] Cherry St(Dempsey Apartments).
I made contact with the male later identified as the arrestee, Michael Lavant and spoke with him about the incident. When questioned out of spontaneous utterance Mr. Lavant admitted to urinating on the wall because he had an emergency and he really needed to go. He also stated he did not try to urinate on any one.
Mr. Lavant was arrested and charged for public indecency and simple assault. He was then transported to the Bibb County LEC where he was turned over to jail staff.
Warrants were signed on Mr. Lavant for the above charges.
