On the report date, I, Deputy P.F. Smith, was dispatched to a fight call at 668 Oglethorpe St, Macon, GA. Upon arrival, I was met by a person who identified herself as [WITNESS #1], Robin (B/F [REDACTED BY AGENCY]), who stated she was the godmother of [VICTIM #1] (B/F [REDACTED BY AGENCY], and that [VICTIM #1] had been assaulted by her mother, Strong, Natassja Phillips (B/F [REDACTED BY AGENCY]).
This Deputy spoke with [VICTIM #1], who stated that she was in her bed along with another juvenile, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (B/F 15yoa), when her mom, Strong, Natassja, came into her room accusing her of drinking her drink. [VICTIM #1] stated that her mom (Strong, Natassja) then struck her in the face approximately 18 times, either by slapping her or striking her with a closed fist. Strong, Natassja then threw a jug of water at her and told her to leave the house. [VICTIM #1] stated that her mom (Strong, Natassja) made verbal threats toward [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] as well.
[VICTIM #1] stated that her mother was not drinking, but she had been smoking marijuana before this incident.
According to [WITNESS #1], [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was staying at the residence under Strong, Natassja’s care because [REDACTED BY AGENCY] mother [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was incarcerated at the BCSO jail for unknown reasons.
This Deputy saw facial bruising and swelling under [VICTIM #1]’s eyes, and photographs were taken using the Deputy’s camera. The photos were submitted to the crime lab as evidence.
[WITNESS #1] stated she was taking [VICTIM #1], to her home in Warner Robins. [VICTIM #1] contacted [REDACTED], who stated that her stepfather was coming to pick her up and take her to his residence.
[VICTIM #1] completed a Witness/Statement form in her hand and signed it, which this Deputy witnessed.
[VICTIM #1] was given a Victim’s Rights Card and a case number.
This Deputy will submit for two warrants: Simple Battery O.C.G.A. 16-5-23(a)(2)- Family Violence and Cruelty to Children, 3rd Degree O.C.G.A. 16-5-70(d)(1).
