On the above date and time, Sgt. Grube and I, Deputy Daniels, responded to [1500 BLOCK] Florence Ave in reference to a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, Deputy Jones was performing CPR on [REDACTED], who had sustained a gunshot wound to the head. Mr. [REDACTED] was still breathing when he was loaded into the ambulance and transported to Atrium for medical treatment. A neighbor reported seeing three unknown males run through his yard and commit the shooting. He stated that one of the individuals, described as wearing a white pullover, was the shooter. Deputies secured the area and marked multiple shell casings. When Mr. [REDACTED] arrived at Atrium, he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
Sgt. Rohrbach was notified, and the investigation was turned over to him.
Crime Scene Investigations also responded to the scene.
