On September 15, 2026, at approximately 01:04 hours I, Deputy M. Jones, was dispatched to [1900 BLOCK] Canterbury Rd. in Macon-Bibb County, Ga. The call was in reference to shots fired.

Upon my arrival I made contact with [VICTIM #1]. He accused Philip Odum of firing 4 gunshots at him. [VICTIM #1] explained that while removing tools from the back of his truck, Philip drove to his home in a white 4 door sedan. Philip stopped in front of the home and pointed a handgun out of his driver’s window and fired 4 shots at [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] dropped to the ground and rolled under his truck for cover. [VICTIM #1] was not struck.

[VICTIM #1] explained that he met Philip approximately 5 years ago. The friendship started with [VICTIM #1] performing odd jobs around Philip’s home, ex. cleaning his cat’s litter boxes. Shortly after, Philip begin accusing [VICTIM #1] and his brother of trying to kill him and his mother. Since then, Philip has allegedly shot at [VICTIM #1]’s home on a separate occasion. Philip also is accused of pointing a gun at [VICTIM #1] at a nearby gas station. [VICTIM #1] did not contact 911 on this occasion.

I did not recover any shell casings in the street in front of the home. I instructed [VICTIM #1] to walk me around the vehicles in his yard and to inspect the home. He could not find any damage or bullet holes. [VICTIM #1] did point out 2 projectiles/shrapnel. One was found at the rear of his vehicle in the driveway. A second one was found on the ground near his driver’s door. This possible evidence was submitted at the crime lab on Houston Ave.

[VICTIM #1] has a security camera in his front porch light. This camera did not record, only provides live feed. There were not any additional 911 calls for shots fired by neighbors. There was not a shot spotter detection for this area either.

I advised [VICTIM #1] of the warrant and TPO applications processes.
