On Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, at 1430 hours, I (Corporal A. Walker #2329) responded to [200 BLOCK] York LN, Macon, Georgia 31220, in reference to a domestic.

Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant, identified as [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that she was in her room when her husband, who was identified as Reginald Gilchrist, came upstairs asking her to pay some bills, but she ignored him. [VICTIM #1] stated that her husband proceeded to charge at her, grabbed her by the neck, and started choking her. [VICTIM #1] stated that after he stopped choking her, he kicked her and punched her in the face while yelling at her to get out. [VICTIM #1] then stated that after he grabbed her by the leg and pulled her off the bed, she was able to get up off the floor and run to the bathroom and lock the door until Law Enforcement arrived.

When I entered the house, Gilchrist was lying on a mattress on the living room floor. I approached him with my patrol rifle and gave him the verbal command to turn over on his stomach and put his hands behind his back. Gilchrist complied. At this point, Gilchrist was detained, the handcuffs were checked for fit and double locked, and a thorough search of Gilchrist was conducted before placing him in the backseat of my marked patrol car.

[VICTIM #1] was given the victim’s case pamphlet and advised to look into obtaining a temporary restraining order. At this point, I provided my beginning mileage to dispatch and transported Gilchrist without incident to Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center, where he was released to the jail staff for booking.

Warrants to be taken on Gilchrist.
