I, Deputy Robinson, was dispatched to [3000 BLOCK] GRADY STREET in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Upon my arrival, I spoke with the granddaughter of Ms. [VICTIM #1], who stated that her grandmother wanted her grandson, Mr. Richardos Lawrence removed from the property. She advised that he was being disrespectful and that Ms. [VICTIM #1] no longer wanted him on the premises. I observed Mr. Lawrence sitting inside a silver 2010 Chevrolet Impala parked in the yard. I made contact with Mr. Lawrence, requested his name and date of birth, and advised him that his grandmother wanted him to leave the property. After obtaining his information, I conducted a records check, which revealed several outstanding warrants. I requested that dispatch verify the warrants, and they were confirmed. Mr.Lawrence was then placed under arrest.

Prior to searching the vehicle, Deputy Mode asked Mr. Lawrence if he had any weapons, to which he replied that he did not. During a search of the vehicle, a handgun was observed in plain view on the front floorboard. Several individually packaged bags of suspected marijuana were also located in the back seat.

Additionally, a tube containing approximately four to five white rock-like substances, consistent in appearance with a Schedule II controlled substance, was found in the door compartment of the vehicle. Mr. Lawrence was advised of his Miranda rights. When asked if he understood his rights, he stated that he did and agreed to speak with deputies. Mr. Lawrence stated that none of the items found inside the vehicle belonged to him and claimed the vehicle belonged to a friend.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY ENTERS APPEARANCE IN CASE NO. 2026-MCR-007376 — RICHARDOS MARQUEZ LAWRENCE

What this means: Attorney Allyson Yates of the Office of the Circuit Public Defender formally notified the Bibb County Superior Court that she is representing Richardos Marquez Lawrence in Case No. 2026-MCR-007376 (Case No. 26-70272). That case involves charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon or Felony First Offender and VGCSA (Georgia’s drug law), two counts. Filing an Entry of Appearance is how a defense attorney officially puts the court and the prosecution on notice that they are the attorney of record — meaning all future court communications on this case go through Yates.

MOTION TO INVOKE U.S.C.R. 1.2(B) ORDER FILED IN CASE NO. 2026-MCR-007376 — RICHARDOS MARQUEZ LAWRENCE

What this means: Attorney Allyson Yates filed a motion on behalf of Richardos Marquez Lawrence asking the Bibb County Superior Court to apply the Uniform Superior Court Rule 1.2(B) Order in Criminal Cases to Case No. 2026-MCR-007376. That standing order, signed by Judge Martha C. Christian on December 19, 2011, sets baseline procedural rules for how criminal cases move through the Macon Judicial Circuit — covering things like discovery timelines, deadlines, and case management. Invoking it formally puts both sides on notice that those rules govern the case going forward.
