I arrived and made contact with the victim [VICTIM #1] inside the home. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated his son had struck him with a blunt object but he didn’t know really what it was because it knocked him down and made him dizzy. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated the incident started when Shadar was beating on the walls and he asked him to stop beating. He stated he and Shadar had some words, then they physically locked up with each other. During the altercation Shadar struck Mr. [VICTIM #1] in his right eye with his fist. Mr. [VICTIM #1] was hit in the head again above his left eye which caused a large bump to swell. Along the right the right side of Mr. [VICTIM #1] face, had a small cut. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated Shadar grabbed a blunt object from somewhere in the house and struck him in the back of the head. This caused a open would covered in blood.
Shadar was picked up walking around in the neighborhood. He was cuffed and placed in the back of Cpl Bruce patrol truck. Shadar was read his Maranda Rights. Shadar stated he was on his cell phone and it hit the floor. He stated his thought he tried to drop it hard. Shadar stated he was sitting on the sofa in the living room and his dad got mad and tried to grab him. When Mr. [VICTIM #1] tried to throw him, he got mad and the fight started. Shadar stated after the fight, he left walking. I did not see any visible injury on Shadar at the time. Shadar was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery.
